Who is trashing him?? he is a hero. I could not believe how he missed wires and missed that house before crashing into that tree. He was a nice guy and I am sure his family is going to sorely miss him.

Mr. Duncan was a man with a huge heart and is truly missed and i see him as a hero myself. I truly hope Mr. Flangan is doing better; I could not imagine what he witnessed. God bless everyone that TRULY loved and cared for Mr. Duncan and to everyone else may God have mercy on your soul.

Only 2 know what is in a man's heart- Jesus and their self. We will all have that day where we stand before the Lord Jesus and be judged- not by our faith but by our works. For all of you reading this- let this be a reminder that our God is a loving God and can and will save us. If, and only if we want to be saved according to his word. BIBLE- Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. My heart aches for the Duncan family. Our judgement day will come at that appointment that we ALL have. It's called death. I have faith that he knows what he is doing- it is his plan. Not ours. So many think that they can control their destiny. Destiny is defined by God, our Lord Jesus. Therefore; we have no control. He knew us before we were a twinkle in our daddy's (clears throat) eye. He knows our true intentions, and I strongly believe that good prevails over evil. N E NUFF said?

I need to make a correction to my previous post. The Bible states "show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works..." I'm not afraid to admit mistakes, my fault.

Nobody knows what Mr. Flangan has gone through but those close to him and even they have NO idea. Im sure Mr Duncan was a good man--but from what Ive read this was his 3rd wreck??? Where does it end?? It looks like it did end and for that Im sorry but it was just his day and nobody knows when it will be our day.

Sounds like a litte sarcism (spelling ?) to me..but that might just be the way Im reading it. He sounded like a man that was TRULY loved, nobody has said he wasnt but attitude is everything and Im reading that maybe you have a small one??? Correct me if Im wrong.

Attitude is everything. It is who we are. So to answer your question, I do have attitude and personality just like everyone else that is breathing. Was that suppose to be an insult?

He could be somebody's husband, son, grandson, grandfather, brother or uncle. Bottom line is a man lost his life, he has family that are in mourning. Show some respect. I didn't know him but God bless him & his family!

Now that the truth has surfaced- who has something to say about "he was too cheap to buy fuel" or, "wasnt this his 3rd plane crash?" He WAS NOT too cheap to buy fuel, as Tupelo Airport was clearly SEEN by MANY removing a large amountof fuel from the cash site (but he was too cheap to buy fuel, thats why there was soooo much fuel left behind) AND YES this was his 3rd and final crash. Fact is, the FAA found NO PILOT ERROR in all crashes. Unless you are a complete idiot (which you clearly are), the FAA CANNOT be bought, and they are a very elite group of individuals who are highly trained to investigate to the fullest extent and leave no stone unturned. This is more than I could say about you ignorant group of insensitive country a** people who are too busy trying to trash someone's family member who was tragically killed by someone who does not care to run down to the local hardware store to purchase a small tube of Loctite. The plot thickens... God is in control if this my friends, and he will ensure it ALL is revealed before the fat lady sings (she will be revealed at a later date)...

"FAA CANNOT be bought"
==========
Dream on, most Government officials are bought in one way or another. Propaganda replaces the truth in most of the government dealings.

Cause and effect rule life, not God. Just because no cause is found does no mean that there is none.

Is that not what you say about God?

But the fact remains that the preliminary accident report indicates that the cause of the crash was faulty assembly of a fuel line by Tupelo airport workers. Of course, the report notes that the operations manual for that aircraft includes the procedures for handling the plane with one engine failing at take off.

Certainly, a certified mechanic should never sign off on a repair that is made cutting corners and ignoring proper procedures and the mechanic in this situation might be alone in suffering the consequences.

Exactly right; not only did the crash put Mr. Duncan's life in danger, but everyone that happened to be in the path of that taagedy. Those people could have been one of mine or your family members or friends. It's one thing to forget to set your alarm clock or coffee maker, but to neglet something so critical is unthinkable.

Pay close attention:

The National Transportation Safety Board determines the probable cause(s) of this accident to be:

The pilotís delayed reaction in performing the engine failure procedures and his failure to maintain adequate airspeed, which resulted in a loss of airplane control. Contributing to the accident was maintenance personnelís improper torquing of the B-nut between the fuel supply hose and the manifold valve.

Just like a driver with a blowout the training does not drill into a person the simulated problem that when it happens for the first time. Point is Tupelo does not need an airport anywhere near residential areas.

The airport was there first and residential property was developed around it.
