Tupelo City Council accepts contract to transfer Spain House.

The city gave away thousands to a private club and put the city in a spot to be liable for future problems. A bad move in the first place followed by bad moves to enrich the pockets of those that do not need it.

Fred Pitts cheered this as he is a member of the private club.

First of all the church either lied or idiots. They said they bought the Spain House to put offices in. After buying they said it was going to cost too much to repair, they wanted to tear it down. Are you telling me that they spent good money on a building without checking it out first. If they did then who ever made the decision to buy it should not be in charge of money or the other choice is that ehy out and out lied. The church should have been made to keep that house, the city should have never taken it over.
