It is so good to see that the The Naz is alive and well here in Santa Cruz.
The great Don McCaslin has given so much joy to our community! The music of Warmth was our soundtrack for decades. His kindness is legend.
Having seen Don's 1987 Naz show, I promise you will not want to miss this funny and touching show.
To Don, you are a treasure! One of the greatest souls to ever slap sandal to sand! Thanks Daddy-O!

I can only echo what Mark Jordan wrote from Martinez. The Nazz was, and no doubt still is, a wonderful hip rendition of the life of Jesus Christ.
In addition to its original performance at Kuumbwa, The Nazz was also performed at Sweet William's on Seabright, now long gone, alas. At around the same time, a similar riff was played there on the life of the Buddha, although I'm afraid I can't recall the exact name given to that piece. Can anyone supply that?
I remember those other performances because my son Mike (now a touring member of the Reduced Shakespeare Company) was in them both. I'll be there to enjoy The Nazz once again on Thursday, 8th April. Be there or be square!
