I watched the story tonight on TV about this young man Lopez Lomong. What an amazing story this was-(I had a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes for most of the story). Lopez Lomong has over come so many obstacles, he is the poster child for what many of us coaches call mental toughness. I would love to buy a shirt with his name on the back of it. I know God has carried this young man a long way, I hope he continues to carry him around the track in the upcoming olympics. I am truely a Lopez Lomong fan. Lopez, if you are ever in Tampa Florida you will always have a place to stay and dinner would be on me. I would love my two young daughters (6 & 4) to meet such an outstanding US citizen. We are proud that you are an American citizen and that you are representing us in the olympics. We are so proud of you bud! I will be sure to tune into the olympics no matter how early or late it is just to watch you represent USA. GOD BLESS!
