well i dont find but one sin that you cant be forgiven for that is blaspheming the Holy Ghost God is no respecter of persons thank God there aint no big sin or little sin its all the same in Gods eyes so saints when you find your self talking to your neighbor about sister or brother sow in sow just remember thats gossip look at where God ranks that in the bible. Actually the only sin that you cant be forgiven for is the sin you won't repent of. Repenting is a turning away from. You have to quit living in the sin of adultery in order to be forgiven from it and be right with God.

the holy bible does not say that. God has took plenty of bad sisuation and turned them around for the good. i never seen that you have to give up any thing to come to God, his word says come as you are just like the thief hanging beside Jesus he was a theif Jesus didnt tell him to give up anything and then you would be with me in paradise he knew his heart what a great God we serve had it not been for a man called Jesus we would all be lost.

According to Luke 13:5 you do have to turn from your sin in order to be forgiven of your sin

Luke 13:5 "I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."
Definition of repent - To make a change for the better as a result of remorse or contrition for one's sins. Yes, if it wasn't for Jesus we would be lost. God is so good.

Have we become like the pharasees only in appearance.
After 35 years I am leaving my church because I need to get my son some help for deep depression and youth exposure.

Again about Repenteance and turning away from sin.
Ezekiel 33:11,14-15. This is God that said, to the wicked to turn away from there sins and they shall live. So you see the problem with the sin of adultery that one can be saved from, But must turn away from. If you tell God that you are sorry for your sin(adultery)But stay in that sin, then God say's that you haven't repented.

Where does it say big sin little sin? They are all the same cheating on your taxes will keep you out of heaven, running a red light is a sin not following the laws of the land. We all know about murder, rape, stealing. I just hope that I don't judge my brother and sister because I know that will keep me out of heaven. Does the word not state judge and be judged. Are we sinning by our words hurting people by saying they are not good enough because they made a mistake. Would you rather have a man or woman stay together and have them beaten to death or to catch HIV from a cheating spouse. Please don't judge your neighbor all of us have kids and we want them to know that God loves them and we want them loved unconditonaly. Doesn't the word state be you perfect even as your father in heaven is perfect? I was just looking for directions to one of our local cogop. I came across this and all I can say is shame on us.

I will share my testimony with you and you decide for yourself what you choose to believe or not believe. We all must work out our own salvation with God. God's grace is sufficent for all of us no matter what the situation, yes, even divorce and remarriage. There is only one judge and only one person that we need to look to for answers and that is God Alone, not our neighbor, not our friends, not our church, not our pastors, etc... the list goes on.
Testimony: In June 2003, my husband and I separated after years of a struggling marriage. We married in 1999 and I fought everyday to keep our marriage but to no avail. Our divorce was final by August 2004. It wasn't by my choice. In December 2005, I married a wonderful man and it was like night and day difference in relationships. But I am a COGOP native and was brought up under the teachings of the COGOP regarding divorce/remarriage. I drifted away from God because based on what I was taught growing up, he no longer loved me or cared for me. I said, if he doesn't care about me, why should I serve him and draw closer to him. I quit going to church, quit reading my bible, quit praying, etc..... I went on like this for 3 years. It was this year that the Lord intervened in my life and showed me much differently. The day before my 29th birthday, I said one short simple prayer, be it that I haven't prayed in a long time. I said, "Lord if it was meant for me to serve you and be saved, show me. I can only believe you." The next day while at work, my mother drove 1 hr and 1/2 to my workplace to deliver a card to me (be it she knew nothing about my prayer). As I opened the envelope, I saw the words "Prayer works". I turned to the front of the envelope and saw this scripture "Ask and it will be given you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you (Matthew 7:7). I got to the card. On the front was a picture of Jesus sitting on a rock looking to the heavens with a staff/rod in his hand and below the rock were two sheep. I open the card and on the inside it says "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.(2 Corinthians 13:14). Also it said this "Praying you will find every desire of your heart in the care of the One who loves you best. May the Lord bless you on your birthday and always!
This pictures signifies that the Lord is our sheperd and he is a great sheperd and he left the 99 to rescue me and show me that he is the way, the truth, and the life and the only want to get to heaven is by HIM. Don't let people determine your fate, let your heavenly father determine that. God Bless.

Most people have no idea what the Bible truly says about Marriage, Divorce and Remarriage.
I think it would shock most people to find out Jesus actually forbids the remarriage of divorced people.

How much study have most people done on this subject?
Romans 7:2-3, 1 Corinthians 7:39, Luke 16:18.

Jesus forbids remarriage, unless you are widowed!! Which means if you remarry and you have a living spouse, He will not accept it. You can not outwit the Lord, by getting a divorce and declaring it a legal marriage, when the Lord himself calls it adultery.

How can a Pastor perform the Wedding of
a Divorced Person?

The Bible says:
“Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another, commits adultery and he who marries one who is divorced from a husband commits adultery.” Luke 16:18

Then According to the Bible:
At 6:30 pm on the day of the wedding, the Pastor pronounces them husband and wife. Then later that evening they commit adultery.

Question:
If they are truly husband and wife how could they possibly be committing adultery that evening?

Answer:
They can not truly be husband and wife or it would be impossible for them to commit adultery.

For it is absolutely impossible for a true husband and wife to commit adultery with each other.

Can we at least admit that?

You conveniently omitted the "save for fornication" part.

No, Christ does not forgive all sin. He only forgives sin you repent of. Repenting is a turning away from. You must stop living in adultery and ask for forgiveness to be forgiven.

The Bible also states that when you look at a person with lust in your heart, you have committed adultry.Have you ever in your life done that? If you have then you are just as guilty. Christ came to heal the sick and save the lost.I caught my wife cheating on me 3 times and chose to forgive her but SHE still divorced me. Does that mean that I am going to HELL because I have remarried?
