Anyone been to Pearls and Pinstripes lately, and had good business? Or bad? Just so you know the owner is pretty dishonest when it comes to her dealings. Not to mention the store is ate up with mold , that is just as bad for the customers as it is for the employees. There have been numerous complaints to her, yet she heeds none of them. Also, an audit might be good for her, as i know she has not paid one or more of her employees fairly, thank god he kept the time sheets. Hope the labor board is not going to have to be involved.

I have tried to go there but they are never open and keep inconsistent hours. I also returned some cufflinks and studs accidentally with a tux rental and they were never returned to me.

My daughter put a new wedding dress on layaway there. After she made all of her payments(on time) and got the "new dress" home she found make up stains that weren't there when she had the dress put back. Now the dress will have to be professionally cleaned before she can use it.When she approached the owner she was told that once it left the store she was not liable for damages and admitted that she had let customers try the dress on because until it was paid in full it was still her property.I would encourage ANY potential customers of this cheesy business to look farther, even if it means driving to Murfressboro or Nashville!

Sounds like this business is not one to do business with. A good friend of mine told me a similar story recently about her wedding dress being ruined after picking it up from layaway and it was suppose to be a "new dress." Take your money elsewhere! There is an amazing dress shop from what I hear in Nashville, Bridal Warehouse. I have several friends getting married this year and the experience at Bridal Warehouse was a lot better than Pearls and Pinstripes! If you want dishonest customer service, go ahead and shop here.

After posting on the forum warning consumers about the horrible experience, the started threatening me about posting on a public forum. Not a great experience at all!

Any business that misrepresents it's merchandise and refuses to correct their mistakes needs to be criticized on a public forum.Threatening to sue their customers for defamation of character only works if what they post isn't true.Refusing to seek a middle ground between your customer and yourself is just bad business which will soon lead to no business!

The location referred to in this post was certified to be uninhabitable due to mold, the retailer did move and relocated this business. The other information, to our knowledge is unfounded and simple an unnecessary comment.

Can this poster furnish information that can be honestly/fairly confirmed. This appears to be an addition to the original post and to further give this retailer a negative review.

If threats were made to you the authorities should be contacted in an honest effort to clearify all of your previous post and this post. To continue to post in a negative manner is also and can be regarded as a slanderous or defamation , please voice your concerns in a public forum to honest and accurate accounts of the experience you have had with this retailer.

This isn't slander! These are real life experiences.Run a crappy business, screw what customers that have the misfortune of trying to trade with you, and yes, people will talk about you like a dog and warn their friends and relatives. And by the way,I've spent forty plus years successfully owning and operating small business's and don't recall ANY customer dispute that was'nt resolved to everyone involved's satisfaction!Threatening your customers for telling the truth should really improve your bottom line!

I did contact this retailer and spoke to them and it was very interesting and enlightening with regard to a recent situation the retailer encountered regarding a consignment item, which was a signed document by the poster's wife.....and several unfortunate harassing visits and phone calls to the retailer. The retailer does have the right to make and enforce specific documents and what has incurred since is simply a malicious attack on this retailer.

I have shopped at this retailer and had a horrible exsperince. This place is awful, I told the woman that I would never be back and that I would tell rvryone I see to stay away. You conduct yourself in an unproffeional manner, you are rude and disrespectful. Now come sue me for slander, because this is in print I would think it would be liable.

Good! For a minute there I thought that they were referring to me,but since my original post was almost a year ago and since this was a "recent" situation they must be referring to yet another unhappy customer! The simple fact that they ("feedback") keep bumping this to the top of the forum and keeping these reviews in the public eye gives a pretty good ideal of their business savvy.

Professional comment-- This retailer has been in business for over 30 years and has not maintained her customer base because she was rude or unprofessional....and remember, people always consider the source when malicious rumors start.

These posts are being monitored by a private source and in an effort to honestly convey to the readers an honest report of actual events. Yours was a very misrepresented posts should the reader truly want to know more they should contact the retailer or visit this retailer and judge for themselves and not be swayed by those who choose to portray their experience in a negative.
