DA Blocks Murder Suspect's Arrest

Obviously Donna, you've not seen too many deceased people. Some time after death you become spotted with black and red. Its a natural thing and its not pretty. Tullahoma has nothing to hide - as you may see if you read all the additional attached stories this newest "evidence" was taken to a court hearing and the Judge did not find cause for an arrest. This case was presented TWICE to a jury - a Grand Jury - they could not find that there was enough evidence to return an indictment.
Did Ricky Nolan hit or push his wife causing her fatal injury ? Maybe. But the fact of the matter is it takes evidence to arrest and convict. I'm sure many of you would be bashing the police and DA if they were trying to charge on of your relatives with insufficient evidence.

IF THE FAMILY WAS THE ONE THAT DONE THIS TO THIS YOUNG LADY, NO I WOULD NOT BE MAD IF THE DA WAS TRYING TO ARREST THEM. BUT THEY HAVE EVIDENCE STATING THAT MR.RICKY NOLAN DID HIT OR PUSS HIS WIFE WHY DOES HE GET THE SPECIAL TREATMENT THAT HE IS GETTING. IS IT SOMETHING THAT HE KNOWS ON THE DA OR SOMEONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER, IS SOMEONE AFFARID THAT HE IS GONNA TALK AND TELL WHAT HE KNOWS.

This is really none of my business but this story is interesting. Not only is there question about this young woman's death being brought up but now it makes me wonder-what about Willard Morris. Many people were involved in that murder yet only one convicted, so it does make one think-DOES t-town have things they are hiding? I mean, most small towns do.

I do agree with what you are saying. Myself I also live in a small town and yes some of the the offical people can and will do whatever they want until they get caught like happen to one of the Sherrif's here sereval years ago and the reason that he got caught was for the simple fact that the FBI came in and investagated everything that was suppose to be going on and belive me it was and more as well.

CWW, look at the funeral director's report and the autopsy report. Those were made by people who do look at deceased bodies for a living. Both determined she had been beaten, and her cause of death was not consistent with a fall. The family won a civil suit. Those are facts - not rumors, speculation, gossip, or grieving families looking for revenge - they're facts. You are right about some trials being held in the court of public opinion rather than a court of law. This one should see a court room.

You shouldn't take the criticism personally if you weren't involved in the investigation. I had a dear friend who was a sheriff who often said, "there are law men, and there are bad apples." Unfortunately, it appears the one law man who can do the right thing in this case...appears to be a bad apple. Sadly for him and the Bell family and all the others, these trials are wrongly being held on public message forums and not court rooms.

Are you maybe related to the DA some how? Everyone who knows them has wondered how he's gotten away with so much for so long. I'd be under the jail for doing half of what he's done, and it wouldn't have taken all these years. I'm thankful not every county works like Coffee County.

Evidently that would be Ricky Nolan who's wanted in five states. If all the other states have as much evidence as Mickey Lane then how can this guy walk free? Witness protection program? This movie of the week kind of stuff. I hope the right person reads some of this and does something.

coffee county, da, and TPD are reading these comments laughing their butts off!!! Media needs to somehow stay involved and expose these people if they have to follow them, pay the old school snitches and drug users or simply walk the local projects such as dausett or tullahoma village. etc. you'd be surprised what people will say around the area in casual conversations. News team needs to know- DIG DIG DIG. Sex, drugs money......thats how and WHY authorities are covering each other!!!!

The DA seems to do alot for guys-maybe he is being payed with sexual favors and the one thing being held over him is that he is gay......? you never know. Seems like the man(da) has and has had money. His payment was something way more interesting than money. Just like some of the others in Coffee County of higher positions like say- detectives, etc. I can only imagine how many girls have slept their way out of trouble,and guys have snitched their way out. Wonder how many have gotten discounts on stolen merch. or got a buzz off the drugs found on someone.....and so on-just to say " i'm going to go easy on you this time..." Alot of the younger generation went to school and grew up with the people commiting the crimes. I'd bet many have gotten away with "murder" based on just that.

CWW you are not a physician. The MEs say murder, the Morticians say murder. The DA TOLD the Grand Jury..."do not indict"! What kind of deal is that?
This whole thing is about lies,corruption,and people covering up for murder. The next step is to take this to American Justice. It is my understanding this is being worked out as a book deal with someone very famous in Hollywood.That is how this will be settled, and it will go MUCH deeper than this one case.

Willard J. Morris needs to be at top of list also!! It's my understanding-his murder is VERY deep.

I agree with the local police officer. I think the DA did all he could do. I certainly know him as an honorable man and he's done a great job in that capacity in this county.
