The DVA tortures Americas Veterans, they use us as human guinea pigs for inhumane human experimentations and they use us as training aids so college students can learn the "Art of Medicine". It is bad enough to get sick or injured and end up 100% disabled with out the DVA torturing you by forcing you to go through mental anguish and physical pain while you fight for 20 or 30 years to receive a Service Connected rating so you can receive less than adequate medical care for your combat injuries and illnesses. Oh yes my heart goes out to those soldiers as they go forth to fight to protect a country that refuses them so much as proper medical care for their injuries. A country that honors their bravery with lies and deceptions as their children and their spouses suffer because they are denied medical and dental care because the DOD refuses to pay our medical providers what is owed and promised to be paid by the DOD. Sergeant James A Hayden, United States Marine Corps, Retired Vietnam 69 - 70 Hold on there SGT. I would be impressed if they were even squared away enough to do that! I have been waiting on them for about a year now. LTC Iraq

Hey Crystal, Tell your husband to find his Chaplain. I have served twice in Iraq with the Division Chaplain for 3rd ID and we have always received literally thousads of dollars in phone cards that we give out to Soldiers through the Chaplain channels. If they say they don't have any, tell them to call the Division Chaplain and tell him to let Robert know in Tennessee and we'll get some on the way. If he gives the mailing information for your husband to me I will make sure he has some cards personally. crystal cardin elkton tn wrote: My husband SPC.Christopher Cardin was shipped out with 1/181 unit from Lawrenceburg TN. In JUNE and he came home in AUG. for four days that was the first time he saw he newborn baby girl . Then he came home in NOV. for two weeks from IRAQ then he went back it was real nice to have him home but, very hard to see him leave me and his daughter again. He has to buy phone cards to call home and i think the army should supply our soldiers with phone cards around the holidays to call home to us .We haven't heard from Chris in six days and that puts a very huge strain on us wives and families of these soldiers. I just hope that every soldier over there with our lovedones is doing ok and they come back home to us safe and unhurt. To leave you with something just pray to god and he will help us thru this difficult time we are going thru and that our guys and girls are going thru.

Meggen May wrote: Operation: Make a Difference begins this week! Hello everyone, my name is Meggen. I am the sister to an Army Reservist, and Sgt John Sullivan was a friend of mine in High School. While I know that nothing I can say is going to ease what you are all going through with the deployment of the 1-181st, I can tell you this. I have put a program into one (hopefully more shortly)Hamilton County High School called Operation Make a Difference. The student council and I have adopted the 1-181st. What this means is that we are going to be "taking care" of them through the end of the school year. We will be sending supplies, letters and things they just plain want until May 2008. Maybe this, in some way, will make the transition easier for you all. If you have any questions comments or suggestions, please feel free to contact me at my organization e-mail OMADorganizer@yahoo.com Thanks and good luck to you all. Meggen If you and your friends want to really make a difference maybe you should get together and raise awareness of this occupation of Iraq. Get out and get votes for someone who will get us out of Iraq and bring our young men and women home. They aren't being killed to protect our freedom as Bush says, they are being killed to secure oil rights for Exxon/Mobile and dollars for defense contractors.

The majority of our oil is out of Saudi and were are in Iraq. Pay attention. We are fighting to keep their asses off of our soil, clear and simple. If you want them fighting on Market Street we can sit back and let that happen for you but I prefer to take the fight to them.If you don't want to help thats ok too its a choice and everyone in the military made that choice free and clear. As I recall we don't have a draft. You just be happy there are those of us who don't mind covering your sorry ass so you don't HAVE to. See ya.
