Horrible horrible internet service and lots of disruptions and disconnects...Bajabb is the worst internet provider and no one takes responsibility.

Had their service for six months and did not have any problems that I can recall. Went back to Satellite because of the HD channels and did not like paying $15 a month to rent their DVR. I am thinking of switching to them for internet. Anyone have some information of their internet service?

I usually do not have problems with their internet service. I have been wondering if they been bandwidth throttling me recently but have not done any tests.

They say there may be some disruption during solstice times when sun interferes with Satellite transmission.

Yes, it's customer NO service... they raised my rates after 6 months and told me they will raise their rates every year. They said they are upping it 1MBPS with the rate increase....WHOOPIE...people don't understand that doesn't mean crap...you are only as fast as the computer or site you are connecting to period! The outages are amazing as in Georia/NM is the tech support and they dont' have a clue on what is happening in Alamogordo...hello!!

I hate baja bb! It's the worst cable & internet service I've ever had & have used several different companies. The internet connection has never been what they claimed & the cable tv service goes out often & they claim to not have any control over it. The worst part of it all is that baja is the MOST expensive service I've ever had & the customer service is the worst! I used to think comcast was bad, now I'd welcome them with open arms but unfortunately we don't have a choice!

Don't go with baja. They tried to make me pay $1200 one month because of their mistake. Luckily with a lot of phone calls I was able to get out of my contract and pay only the part of my bill I was supposed to. Bad customer service as well.

Baja is the best. Had it since day one. Never a problem. Learn how to use a computer!

Bajabb at least once a week stops internet connection. I work at home and so I'm here during the day to notice it. They never accept blame. Broadband monitor tells me that there is no internet connection. Tech support is apologetic with oh well attitude. They either reboot their computers or do stupid things regardless of the consequences to consumers.

You can email corporate customer service at
customerservice@bajabbtv.com That's for internet also. I've tried to tell them Alamo has a problem, with enough emails and complaints, maybe something will get done. Just because a few don't have probelems, the majority do.

We had Baja for a while and never had any problems with the service for TV or internet and they were always very friendly. The price went up by about $1 so nobody should be expecting more than a 1 mbps increase.. also never had outage problems in Colorado so it probably depends on where you live and the equipment you use. TV was a little more expensive than comcast for what you get but we didn't have the option for comcast on post and comcast's internet is more expensive.

The thing that irks me the most about Baja, is they go up with thier prices without fail every year.

I'm hoping the eventual outcome will be, that they price themselves right out of existence.

I'm sure noone will shed any tears over this loss

I'm assuming the county or city commission finalizes contracts with internet and cable providers. Does the city or county have some kind of feedback and reporting system in place to assess the service throughout the contract period? I have always wondered why a bigger and better provider with superior features hasn't been considered - like Time Warner. I'm familiar with TW in El Paso. Their reception and dvr features blow Baja's out the back door.

Baja internet has been down for 3 days at my house. Customer service told me that the tech would fix the problem but 2 days in a row the tech didn't show up. Time for me to go with Qwest.

Keep calling Baja and demand a refund on the days you've been without internet.
It's not a systemwide problem or everyone else's would be down too.

I no longer have baja cable because my family decided to use direct tv. When I did have baja I experienced several down days ( no cable, etc.) I would note the time and date and when I would go pay my bill I would hand them my log of "downtime" and they would credit my account. No problem with getting credit but inconvenient because I would have to go to office to get my credit. Direct TV is okay but I only watch channels that are on Beja cable so I will b e going back gto Baja when my family moves out of home which will be in October.
