In my opinion, I think John Sanchez is arrogant to think he can run for a US Senate seat. I think it takes more than a pretty face and a flashy smile to replace someone of Senator Bingaman's stature. Senator Bingaman has a law degree was Attorney General of NM. Went to Harvard and has served us for 30 years. He is a very popular senator and has passed some very significant legislation that was in the best interest of NM. On the other hand what is Sanchez claim to fame. One term in the NM legislature, an unsuccessful run for Governor and now has been Lt. governor for about 5 minutes. I do not believe he has gone to college( if I am wrong on that I apologize) and he started his construction company at his mother's kitchen table. Hardly a resume to serve in our US Senate.
Mr. Sanchez you insult the electorate's intelligence. You can boast lower taxes and smaller government. you think less regulations is going to make business easier to operate but regulations are there for a reason - to protect the public from health hazards and the workers that may have to work in conditions that are not in their best health interests. If you think with your background you are qualified to be a US Senator, then I say to you as Sen. LLoyd Bentsen said to Dan Quayle, " I know John Kennedy and you sir are no John Kennedy".

That is funny. The Lt. Guv of the top welfare state in the nation (2005 $2.03 in federal spend in NM for each $1 paid in federal taxes) speaking in the most federally dependent county in the country speaking about getting the federal hand out of the pocket. I guees that would make sense if Uncle Sam wasn't filling that pocket more than twice as fast as taking.

It is good to hear that Duran has shaved off $10k from the budget of her office. That should fix it. It is also good to see that, finding little or nothing, Duran vows to keep investigating until she comes up with something. You would think, with all of the rhetoric and plain mud, that it would have been easier to uncover the rampant corruption and election fraud.

Who was the local drug dealer speaking with John Sanchez and his assistant, Alamogordo resident Manny Gonzalez, Friday at Chili's restaurant? I guess a vote is a vote, right? BTW, I snapped a few photos, and I'm keeping them safe. Can you say S-C-A-N-D-A-L? Especially during a Senate campaign? Stay tuned! There's more to come!

Stranger things have happened. I happen to think he would do a much better job than Bingaman. Bringing home tons of money from D.C. does not necessarily mean success or a good senator. Also, Bingaman seemed to think he was god by thinking he knew what was best for New Mexico instead of accepting the views of the majority of constituents if they were against his own.

So what your saying is that Mr Bingaman's high paid education destroyed his common sense?

Mr Sanchez's education in building any business is more in line with my work ethic & values than any OVER COLLEGE educated FOOL! You just explained alot of why I have a hard time with our GOOD (enter sarcasm) Senator! Can you say, "Out of touch with reality?"

Micheal,
Your sounding more Libertarian everyday, so why not take the plunge and join us on the dark side and become one ?.

I'm only kidding, but in all seriousness have you Read what our S&P rating is now ?, and have you read they well hidden IMF report released recently that the USA dollar is dropping twice faster than predicted, not to mention the upgraded scale of China's domination over the USA ?.

China owns us. We will be forever indebted to them and will continue to use their excessive amounts of imports into the U.S.
