I bought flooring from them last week and it appears that I will not be receiving it since my delivery date has come and gone and no one will answer their phones. This is horrible - I feel bad because I won't get my flooring or a refund and also becuase all of those people were shuffled out the door so quickly. I truely feel bad for everyone at this company because up to now, they have been great to deal with.

You will get your product. It will take some time, but you got to realize how many customers orders are out there. I was one of the unlucky employee's that lost his Job. iFLOOR does care about your order and will do what ever they can to get that to you. It is very unfortunate that this has happened and I feel for all my customers that didn't get their material. There are still people in the corprate office tring to figure all this out. If I know Steve (the founder) he will do whatever it takes to get every customer their materials that were paid for. iFLOOR was the leader in flooring and I feel bad for all my co-workers that no longer have employment. I will someday have my own flooring business and will model it after iFLOOR.(just hope I don't go bankrupt!!)

Tough luck but flooring is a nickel and dime industry. Best not to invest too much into it. Go to school and pursue something more worthwhile.

I paid in full for flooring and installation. I am not sure if I can get any reimbursement for installation. I have really budget on house renovation, hope I can get everything back.

Paying up front is very risky...hopefully you used a credit card. Contact your cc company now and stop payment.

I am posting my disgust in iFloor's incompetence and rush to file for chapter 11 protection, while they took a significant amount of my money knowing they did not intend to provide the service that money was supposed to provide.

File a dispute with your credit card company, you should have protection and you should be able to get your money back.

I say good riddance. I feel sorry for all the customers that are left holding the bag but do they really expect that a company that sold so cheap to be able to stay in business. ifloor was a pain in the side to legitimate retailors of flooring products. When you pay lower prices, the biproduct if oftentimes less or erratic service.

My husband and I ordered flooring on December 1st and were told on the 19th (when it was supposed to arrive) that we wouldn't be getting anything. The article says that the owner of the store knew he'd have to close "after Thanksgiving". I placed my order and GAVE HIM MY MONEY after Thanksgiving, which means the owner kept the store open and took money with no intention of delivering. No way around it - that's FRAUD. I called the Tukwila store to see if I could go in and get different stock for my money, since they're still open for business and have plenty of stock, but the answer was no. We feel like we've been robbed. If it's not illegal it should be. I am pursuing a settlement through my credit card company. People write in here that the staff is there to get us our flooring, but that is not the case. My sympathies to the employees, but the owner is nothing but a poor businessman and a criminal as far as I'm concerned. Trash.

Maybe we should tell the Chinese how you duped them, aye simonson?
|
||||
|
Jim, I suppose Simonson has never done anything for you? You've never had any business dealings with him...why blast him? Let the market-place and the courts work it out.
I can remember a time when Steve Simonson among others furnished you AND your wife with an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas. How soon they forget. |
||||
Simonson didn't pay for that trip according to what he said. I see you've ignored other things. I spoke the truth, nothing more, nothing less. He got others to pay for the trip, while I made him a lot of money via advertising, so he frigged everyone. He stole all I wrote to his site and impressed the Chinese with it and then, he took away all my work, so there would be no proof of his theft. He claimed all the work we put on his board would remain there for all installers, but like I said, he took it all down and put quite a bit of my work under other peoples names. I was speaking on his board recently, trying to let bygones be bygones and for nothing more than telling the truth, he threw me off again and took down all my new work. Your onesidedness is very clear Bud. He told everyone, that I was the one that made one complete trunk line light-up, along with part of another trunk line and all the while, he and the other sites, encouraged all the nere-do-wells to attack me. You seem to forget so easily. Were you watching when I gave quite a bit of new information for our industry,--like the 2 second rule in seam-work. Of course not, but then how'd you find this, if mcclucks board is all you speak on? |

Jim I quit argueing with you years ago.
I can tell you however that when the donations to send you to Surfaces were falling short of the goal that was necessary, Steve and I talked and together WE saw to it that you were able to make the trip by us coughing up even more cash. STEVE SIMONSON DID CONTRIBUTE and made it possible for you and yours to make the trip ALL EXPENSES PAID. YOU Jim are the one that "forgets so easily". Anyway, I hope you and yours are doing well and that you have a prosperous year. It's good to hear from you again. Go ahead and set fire to this board with your wisdom I'm sure they too would appreciate all the traffic you can generate for them. By the way...call me some time, all my numbers are the same as before.:) |

Hey, no one cares about flooring until they've been had and since the flooring industry is as corrupt as the day is long, what gets said here won't matter. This industry has bribed congress to look the other way since about 1970 or 1971. Unless a big corporation goes up against this industry, nothing gets done against it. How about the retailers calling installers---subcontractors, when most all of us barely have a tenth grade education? Yea right, we all studied the law. LOL How about the retail association back in 1971, bribing congress to say that installers were non construction, so that OSHA could not protect us from all the abuses by the retailers, when installers paid just as much in workers compensation as roofers. I'm pretty sure no one cares--especially those like you, that help to protect these theives, but hey, hope you and yours are just fine.--;) |
||||
lol, you quit arguing, because you never had a viable arguement. |
