Freaking over-sized hall monitors. They should dedicate themselves to eating donuts and ripping off the public. That's the painful reality of our Police Force today & they cannot seem to comprehend the disrespect they receive. We need better people to do a better job & not just for the clean cut looking people or the upper ends of town who can pay higher taxes. They have turned Revenue into armed robbery & it's flying a bit too well.

The Music Industry is another issue. It's locked up by greed too. Geeze, make the stinkin money but do they have to keep feeding us the garbage from their business deals? If we all stopped buying their B.S. & started private music parties with a cover charge we would at least get some creative, good music back for our enjoyment!

Hey, if the city or state are interested in fund raising. They should consider just adding another tax. Don't rip the people off more than they need.

Ripping off the public is unacceptable, period. We pay enough in taxes already, what we're challanged by is too much Corruption within our Leadership Positions. We need to clean up our Politics & Country. One by one,'cause those in power do not have any motivation to change it.

Donut, I think I'd be happier with just paying that flat out fee too. It's ripping off the public, however, screwing people over and over and over again doesn't do it for me. Get rid of the cameras. They don't help safety. They are Money Makers for the city/state. Nothing more.

Yes - do we get a petition going? Do we need a Lawyer to write it? Hmmm?
Public deems Traffic Cameras do not enhance safety, only questionable penalities to our already over-taxed job holders/communtors.

Well, if they are really hot on raising funds for the city/state. They can simply charge a $200-300 fee per year to each driver. Get it over with yearly. Screw everyone equally. Get rid of cameras. Stop wasting $100K per year per camera. Stop making excuses of SAFETY. If anything at all, these cameras have people slowing down sharply and putting other people's lives at risk.
This is as bad as cops sitting out clocking people. A guy with a 5th wheel today was behind a bunch of people who saw the copper clocking people. They all slow down quickly. The guy with the trailer is forced to brake really fast and nearly loses it.
Does this sound like something that is done for the general safety of the public.
These cops need to focus on helping the public. Cut out the raising funds mentality. Remember that the public has allowed you to be employed. A mad public could easily have you all replaced or removed.

Exactly - but what's buggin me is in AZ they collect "plenty" of money in everything from Car Registration to DUI's. The DUI business has also gone from a Public Safety issue into another big revenue system. Not that I'm an advocate of drunk drivers, however, they have the limit so low (I'm not sure about this) I've heard 1 drink puts a person over the limit. Meanwhile, anyone caught pays huge fines, pays additional $ for school & really gets penalized on their Auto rates.

So, I am not an advocate of drunk driving either, but I do think they've gone above and beyond the limit as well. Isn't it funny that they layout a bunch of rules for people who drive cars. Don't drink anything and drive. Meanwhile, they give out 1000s of liqour licenses. People are obviously going to attend the bars. In drinking 1-2 beers and you get stopped and all of a sudden, you are getting it up the ass w/out vaseline. I personally don't drink, however, I don't mind hanging out with people who do. Public transit. We don't need no freakin' public transit. Let's tax the crap out of the citizens. It's their right to pay taxes so that we can misuse the funds collected. Drunk drivers. Speeders. Sheep f***ers (heard AZ had one deputy who liked these). You name it, we'll screw you for it.

And the Police scratch their heads as to why they are disrespected? They are the ones upholding the laws of this type of insanity...while not going after the Corruption our Public has to deal with on our own...Where have all the Cowboys gone???

Have you read Lee Iacoca's "Where have all the leaders gone?". That old man makes some interesting reading. The police are not being disrespected. People just don't like 'em. One interesting thing is that we make up rules that will result in people violating them. We issue liqour licenses. People live 20-30 miles from work. They stop off to drink a beer. Cops setup DUI traps leaving the city. No U-turns. No right turn on red. No left turn except on arrow. No speeding. There are way too many rules and silly traffic rules. Again, I say they put out a flat $200-300 mandatory tax that pre-collects for any speeding, etc. Don't forget that these guys act like they work for themselves or some magic money churning machine. They don't even take into account that they work for the residents. In their mind, the citizens should call them SIR or Officer. I'd say people need to call them dikheads, buttttheads, or knotheads ...

I've not read his book but think I'd be on the same page.
On the L.A. news a few years ago people were laughing so hard because a road sign was badly needed that didn't confuse drivers on how to exit onto one of the streets off of the fwy.. Meanwhile, an unknown person made one. It stood for years before the City even realized what was going on!

i agree a dead cop is not a hero just because one dies doing the job they choose to do they are still not heroes, soldiers and heroes they are not crooked when a system rapes 14 year old girls and does not police them because only the police can police the police then they are not heroes i don't give a damn how many die in the line of duty there are too many getting away with other shit like killing, raping, and robbing the community they are hired by to protect them. KILL A COP FOR GOD!!!!and don't say I'm full of it because I was that 14 year old girl and he got away with not only me but 12 rapes of girls until he was shot in the head, don't know by who but whoever did he is my hero!not the pig!and no one in my neighborhood calls a cop for help why bother? it's us they hate south side San Antonio, Texas!soldiers fight for my rights not cops you stupid naive losers!!!!!

They only Police to secure their political agendas. No one sees this side unless they have lived in the Ghettos. Still doesn't make them "all" bad - however - we know they are not "all" good either!

We pay these guys to do a job. We expect a job well done. Citizens should also expect respect from the police. There is no reason for anyone to have to kiss-up to a cop. Cops are public servants. My hope is that they don't forget that they were hired to serve. Harrassment, breaking laws at will and any of the other violations do not constitute serving the public. W/r to heroes? Well, a hero is a person who does something semi-wreckless in order to save someone or something else, with no hope of a returned favor. Does this apply to cops and soldiers? In some cases yes, in most cases no.

Respect has been lost in our society - watch the news; too many Clowns who try to be funny at the expense of anyone but themselves. Being rude isn't cute & it's not a virtue; no matter what kind of job you do.
