believe me all farmers don't get subsidys and the ones that do need it especially smaller farmers couldn't make it without it. farmers pay for one pump alone for one month about 12,000 and if you have 15 pumps times that about 15. Also fuel prices are so high that if you have a pump that runs on fuel for 24 hrs 7 days a week for a month what do you think that cost? Not to mention the cost of chemical is about 4 times higher than 15 yrs ago and the prices are so low that when you sell that crop you are probally in the hole because the market is so low so if the world wants to eat farmers better be helped!!

The point is, that the subsidy money don't just go toward seed, equipment, farm costs, etc. Just look at the way these farmers live. 300,000 dollar homes, swimming pools, nice vehicles for their children, boats, 4 wheelers, new Z71 every 2 years, new Yukon for their wives every 2 years, lake houses, and on and on and on. Something is bad wrong when these guys draw 4 or 5 million dollars in subsidies and live better than average. Just research the subsidy list. It goes like this..... Farmer Jones- x amount of subsidies, Farmer Jones wife (the schoolteacher)-x amount if subsidies, Farmer Jones son- x amount of dollars, Farmer Jones other son- x amount of dollars, Farmer Jones and Sons Ptn. Inc.- x amount of dollars. These subsidy programs weren't intended to allow farmers to live above their means, but have been twisted around to do just that. You farmers know this is right. You are not better than the working men and women that pay your way. High class welfare! And as far as the farmer working so hard during planting and harvest time..... The rest of us taxpayers work just as hard( or harder) ALL YEAR LONG!!!

Wow , if they dont make it "wow".
The Gov. didnt help me when i lost my job after
24 years at a factory.
nor the other 120 families . We all had to live
on slave wages . Down size and do without.
Perhaps we need to form an organization to get
some industry so we can make a living " like the farmers do"

How many of these receipients do you think are abusing the system? Do they rationalize that it is ok, because someone else would if they didn't.
