This is something you need to check out.

I found this interesting. I presume the mixing or races might have something to do with this there are also other factors.

A 2002 study found the prevalence of blue eye color among Caucasians in the United States to be 33.8 percent for those born from 1936 through 1951 compared with 57.4 percent for those born from 1899 through 1905..
Blue eyes have become increasingly rare among American children with only 1 out of every 6 to 16.6 percent which is 49.8 million out of 300 million (22.4% of white Americans of the total United States population having blue eye: have plunge in the past few decades has taken place at a remarkable rate.

A century ago, 80 percent of people married within their ethnic group.

Blue eyes, a genetically recessive trait, were routinely passed down, especially among people of Scottish, English, Irish, Western and Northern Slavic, and Northern European ancestry. In the 1930s, eugenicists used the disappearance of blue eyes as a rallying cry to support immigration restrictions. They went so far as to map the parts of the country with the highest and lowest percentage of blue-eyed people.

America is on the wrong track. Another type of Global warming. Something you may not be able to undo when or if left too late.

Those who are hampering with the law should do some time right alongside their little immigrant law-breakers. I am sick of our laws being used AGAINST us!!! When will this Government see to it that our laws are enforced and that those who interfere with our law enforcement pay the price?

What do you call the actions of immigrants entering illegally if you don't call it an "invasion"?

There is a lot more at stake than some little property owners' businesses. This Country is paying an astronomical price for the invasion by Mexico and our President won't do anything about it. What kind of a President is he????

Who cares, the money they are spending is dirty, and the people being kept out are thieves and we don't encourage thieves into our homes, now do we?

It appears as though only the American tax-payers consider these freeloaders thieves. Our Government considers them as collateral to make the tax-payers keep paying taxes.

Arrested 300 suspects and seized 1,500 lbs. of narcotics in one week. Sounds like they should double this effort in several places in Arizona. Great job B.P.!! To hell with the ones bitching.

Not a single one of you lives here! I do, and none of you knows what you're talking about. I would be willing to bet my business profits this year (admittedly small due to the checkpoint) that each and every one of you would be screaming the loudest if this was happening to you and your business community. This town has survived all of the previous recessions really well. It is unique and beautiful and one of Arizona's most precious historical sites. It lives and dies on tourist dollars. We've been in the corridor of immigration for two hundred years and yet we've never suffered this kind of economic disaster until the Border Patrol came along and decided that we should be SOUTH of the border. We now live in a militarized, constitution-free zone where any number of TLA's (three letter agencies) operate freely and without regard for our rights or concerns. They drive on private property, disturbing the caliche that protects us from blowing dirt and endangering our children and pets. They make jokes about spying on private citizens in their homes and pass the word when they see someone naked through a window. When a citizen reports suspected illegals on their property they don't bother to show up. They purposely intimidate those who are the least able to defend themselves like our older residents, our children, and those who, while born in the U.S., have dark eyes and skin. When we complain they say things like "you haven't even SEEN intimidation yet" and then BP trucks show up on that person's property day after day following the complaint. When told they have no right to enter private property unless pursuing a suspected felon, they laugh and say that they are the feds and they can do anything they want to. People who live here are far more scared of the Border Patrol than they are of the illegal immigrants who mostly try to avoid us. They are an unregulated gang of kids with guns. You people have absolutely no idea what it's like here. So until you are each willing to give up all of your constitutional rights and live in an occupied nation like we do, you should just shut up.

I agree with you 100%. I have been back and forth across the border 6 times in the last 10 months and each time it is more unpleasant. 4 times crossing at El Paso and 2 at Laredo. I understand that the BP has a job to do and some of the older ones are more mello and some of the younger/middle aged ones act like high school bullies.

If any of you lived in these 'constitution free zones' you probably wouldn't like the BP very much either.

They don't exactly have the best track record,'nabbing' 10% of drugs & illegals that enter while having multiple instances of trampling all over US citizens rights.
