They didn't own the cottages, the town of Stratford did. They were squatters for the past ten years. I don't think anyone lived there year-round.

They Did own the cottages! and leased the land. Owners were forced to sign the cottages over to the town. Lived there for years! To the not owner from weston, squatters don't pay taxes! We did!

I ask, why does the town want to sell the waterfront property anyway? Why? Greed? Money? Just like when Ganim sold The zoo.(the entire east side should have been included) but we wont go there.

Not back to the island. I feel sorry for these people, and my family wish them the very best in life.

Short Beach is a great place- and everyone seems to get along just fine. All types of people go there and there is a lot to do.
We mostly sit on the beach or walk out on the sand flats at low tide. A constant stream of boats go by, planes come in low to land, bikini chicks walk by, bathrooms are not far, and if you're out on the beach you can sneak a beer, cops never bother with the beach. I'm glad a few black kids play basketball- I'm sure that will keep certain haters away.

The families moved out which upset me. Shame on Finch for not paying for a new bridge.

Nice dig. Also, it's sad to see these baby boomer kids grow up. They're infested with paranoia, hate, confusion and have some serious anxiety when it comes to social events. They'd never take their talents to the court if they could compete with the ultimate athletes. And they have no concept of humor ever. And they're paranoid. And they smell like that Campbell's tomato soup stuff. Ok, I think I'm done.
