Judge upholds Miron payouts
A judge on Wednesday slammed Mayor John Harkins ' attempt to recoup about $14,500 from payouts former Mayor James Miron made to two staff members upon leaving office.

More wasted taxpayer money on bs lawsuits. Good job John. Between this, Donna Best and your HR director's incompetence dealing with the unions, the lawyers are surely making out. Stratford taxpayers.......not so much.

This ruling now gives any Stratford Mayor card blanch when it comes to payouts to his staff when they leave office. Testing the Town Charter in court could have been the purpose of challenging Mr.Mirons payouts.
