Very simple. It was a gas-recoil bolt action.

<quoted text>..........Wow, you really are a piece of work. No release of the computer hard drive that went to the forensics lab, no mention of the life this kid lived on his computer, and yet you know! Really, are you getting paid to lie at this point? I would not put it past Newtown to fake documents saying that. It wouldn't be the first set of felonies they commited to hide a crime. Let's hear some of the stuff you claim to know "Mr. Haliburton".
You just can't help it, can you? I'm getting paid to lie?'Newtown' might put out fake documents?

They have said they are still trying to recover data from the hard drive; but even if they weren't, 2 weeks is not a long time. There might be other creeps out there who Lanza communicated with who they don't want to tip off. People who sold ammo and shouldn't have, etc. etc. etc.

Your post is just classic CTM paraniod PWilsonism. Its a rant, a hopelessly overblown hyper reaction to a very, very ordinary thing: authorities not releasing info until they are good and done investigating. But you go ahead and see nefarious intent in it.

Still waiting for me to release my secrets?? LOL LOL LOL

I find this pretty credible... wonder if its true. Fanapt (what a weird name!) is used to treat Schizophrenia, so if he was prescribed this stuff, they must have thought he was really, really e'ffed up. So the world was closing in for him. He was right at the typical age of schizophrenia onset. If he had lived, 5 years from now he would have been an institutionalized basket case, beyond help.

Here is a reason they might be mum about the hard drive; doctors not licensed to prescribe it; doctors failing to monitor patients; patients even corresponding with doctors; etc. This people could be tipped off and destroy evidence to cover their asses.

Blumenthal is an amazing man... I think he is on par with Mother Tereza and Jesus.

Ok, have it your way,'Newtown' will put out misinformation to cover up other crimes. Yup, they're deliberately misleading us, but at least you're hot on their trail. You're watching way too much sci-fi. What am I lying about BTW?

A gas-recoil bolt action?

A bolt action is a manually operated firearm with a bolt to open and close the receiver, one shot per bolt action.

Gas recoil action is an autoloading action used in semiauto and fullyauto firearms.

Never seen a gas recoil bolt action.

The 'bolt' is present in virtually any semi-automatic or automatic firearm, rifle or pistol. It simply doesn't have the visible handle any more. It's internal, but still there, pushed back automatically by propellant.

.......... You just keep lying about Newtown being honest. The hard drive must have some stuff on it and I bet the cops smashed it. You keep running interference as to what questions aren't even asked, who helped her get the guns, who inspired her to get guns, why haven't they released any computer info. Drugs? There is no doctor, no prognosis,(get an aspirin), no treatment. And still you with no revelation of the "secrets" you know. Do these secrets come with imaginary friends?

I never 'lied about Newtown being honest' boy are you a child! I merely made fun of you for screaming about deceit on the part of the Newtown officials that surely didn't happen.
Saying the cops smashed the hard drive.... dude you must really have emotional problems. Why would they do that? They are trying to piece together damaged data. For all we know that could take months.
The 'secrets' I mentioned was just in fun- I was teasing you. By now you have asked about these 'secrets' so many times I have to have mercy on you. It was in jest, ok? There are no secrets. Er, thats what Blumenthal told me to say. Just kidding. Wait, was I kidding? You'll have to stare at the wall for a few hours, wondering.

Now you've invented another thing to cry about:'who helped her get the guns'. She didn't need any help, she legally bought them. Tell us more about this non-event, oh won't you?

OK, the bolt is the block of steel that seals the chamber. The bolt has the fireing pin in it. Most every firearm has a bolt. Bolt actions are manually operated with a lever to extract the catridge and load a new one into the chamber to ready it for dischargeing. A bolt action rifle does not use the explosion of the discharge of a gun to operate the mechanisum.

A semiauto or fullyauto firearm uses the expanding gasses of the discharge to push the block back to eject the spent shell caseing and load a new unspend shell for the next discharge/shot. They are called autoloading, be they semiauto or fullyauto firearms.

Semi and fullyauto firearms also have a lever to operate the bolt in order to load/chamber the first round and remove spent and unspent rounds from the chamber.

Ok, once again I type a response, hit 'post' and it's gone, replaced by a page of gibberish. Suffice it to say it's still a bolt, though hidden or partially hidden or called a slide. Yes, I agree with everything you say. And you probably weren't even asking, LOL

I do plan on getting a pistol permit shortly. I really believe there are a few liberals who won't rest until every law-abiding gun owner is deprived of their gun. If your lifestyle doesn't match the lifestyle of some upper-west side ignoramus gay new yorker, you can be sure they are devising ways to force you into their lifestyle. Liberalism is a mental illness.

I was wrong in calling the bolt the lever used to operate the bolt in a bolt action firearm.

I will also be purchasing a handgun soon, never had one but Obama will be banning all kids of stuff, who knows what. If ya want one buy it now..

Never said it! You seem to love arguing nobody's points. Which probably works pretty well for you, because nobody agrees with you (at least about your crazier assertions) and nobody is listening.
