A slap on the wrist. And people wonder why us animal rights activists are so passionate about what we fight for? Because the fight to get the laws harsh enough on these animal abusers is so incredibily difficult. That's why! So what's the next move for this guy? Will he move on to abuse people next? Stay tuned.
how true, how true....If anyone gets the address of where we can write please post it. I called the attorney today, he said to write to our senator, Irene will let me know what she finds out, I'll keep you guys posted. Again, if anyone else has suggestions, please post them. THANKS for all your Help.

Ah yes, this is the "typical" response of someone that does not care about animals. They use these phrases to execute a pre-conceived notion that animal rights activists don't care about people. The old "stigma" that they only care about animals. YOU ARE WRONG. Who are you to judge people here by insinuating that they don't help or care about people. You have no idea what people do for other people or if they volunteer thier time to help people. So stop trying to impose your judgements on others about animal lovers. Just because people love animals, it DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY DON'T LOVE PEOPLE.
I have TRIED also to instill this thought to people...

what condition? that I simply love animals and SANE people? what is your problem Mr Stratford?

I have no problem, but you seem a little imbalanced with this animal activism. Probably a psychological compensation. ay may be compensating in the opposite way. He takes out his losses on animals.(which I do not condone at all!!!) I don't insinuate that you are mentally deficient, but Jay is.

They don't need protesters - the complete and total outrage from everybody for child abuse takes care of itself. But too many people think like you... that animals are worth saving, or worth fighting for - so there are those of us that try to bring attention to it. That's all. Animals have a right to an abuse free life too. I just don't understand why you, and all animal haters, have such trouble finding compassion for non-human living things.
I am not an animal hater. I actually have two rescues. What I am disgusted with is the hypocrisy. There is no protesting for children regardless of what you all think, they aren't always taken care of by the system. Just be consistent in your outrage.

Thats like the pot calling the kettle black. You have just judged me. Turn about is fair play. Don't think you know what I do with my life. I just want everyone to be fair about the beings on this planet that need to be remembered. Have any of you ever been protesting at a courthouse when a child is abused? No one has truly answered that question yet.

This is true Ava, people start hurting little animals and move on to bigger and better things. That is why I still say, if he likes to hurt little cats, put him in a cage with some big cats and see who wins. I think that is fair. Maybe even sell tickets and give the money to the animal shelters. My money is on the lions and tigers.

Get yourself out there and start your protests, get people involved, get a movement going for your passion. What do you think animal advocates do? We have to recruit and get the message out. Everyone has a calling in life. We can't all be everywhere at once. That's why God gave us different callings. If you think for one minute that God does not care about ALL of His creatures - think again! He made animal caretakers, children caretakers, senior citizen caretakers, etc, etc - the list goes on and on. We are all different and we all have different passions. Instead of trying to change others passions, take care of your own. It's not about us. You are not to judge others for what their calling is nor are you to measure what they do.

Life is not fair. You should know that already. Get yourself involved in what your calling is. You'll be more satisfied.

JAY BALDWIN is NOT insane, he wants people to believe he has a handicap, he is a conniver, a system ABUSER (he's good at being an abuser in more ways than one) I worked with him, I know him personally...I CAN talk about him and be telling the truth, the whole truth and NOTHING but the truth...unlike Jay Baldwin, habitual LIAR. so get off my case and get on HIS.

I guess we should just throw all of our mentally ill in a hole and forget about them? I wonder how many of these people protest the abuse or death of a child or any person for that matter?
Lets remember not all mentally ill kill. So I wouldn't go as far as throwing them in all together. There is a big difference from mentally ill and psycho.

I'M imbalanced? I highly doubt it....I work, I socialize, I keep up with issues, I try to help where I can WITH ANYTHING be it animals, causes, I have no idea what you mean that I am compensating in ONLY animal welfare.,sorry to disillusion you.. AGAIN, JAY Is Not Mentally Deficient, I worked with him.

So then, are you here to try to "force" your passion onto others? Doesn't work that way. Just because people are not involved in your passion, it does not mean they don't care about children. You know, I have a soft spot for elderly people. But, I can't volunteer my time in that arena because I would be crying my eyes out and wouldn't be able to accomplish anything. Just like some people say to me "I wouldn't be able to volunteer at the animal shelter, I'd just cry and feel so sad."

What hypocrisy do you see? Did you see me on another forum not caring about the actions (or lack thereof) of ACS/NYC and DCF/CT?? And even though this particular article is about Animal Abuse (and I respond in kind) am I suppose to say 'oh, and don't forget about the children' each and every time. I'm not sure what you are looking for - but to claim hypocrisy when you have no basis to do so - is a hypocrisy in itself.

My God, parents are killing their children on a regular basis here in NYC - teenagers kill their babies regularly - people are dropping off every one of their kids, no matter how old, in Nebraska under the safe haven law that was written incorrectly - babies in other countries are starving to death, or growing up in orphanages without almost any human contact - are we suppose to fight about everything in this forum - are we suppose to fight each and every time for each and every thing? You don't want to get me started on the things that I find heartwrenching - and trust me, I do respond when appropriate.

The truth is there is no hypocrisy - you will find that most activists are activists in all areas. We do not believe in abuse - period. Your disgust has no place, and no relevance, here.

No you don't have to fight everything in this forum but as no one has answered yet where are the protesters at the courthouses, in the media for the children. Can someone answer that. I don't see it on the news.

There you go judging again. I haven't heard any claims that you are doing a thing about your passion except coming on this message board to "let out your" ridiculous frustration at people and trying to impose "your" demands on them. Again, TAKE YOUR ACTION TO THE STREETS! Recruit people for your causee! Make a difference! Sitting at a computer trying to force it on others is not going to make a bit of a difference! In fact, it's quite a turn-off. Start your own organization instead of picking on others that are making a contribution to their calling.
