Law enforcement should make frequent, unannounced visits to his home to make sure he has no animals.

He is a very sick individual and he should be under 24 hour supervision.I predict we will be hearing about him again..Remember Jeffery Dahlmer? He started with abusing animals then breaking their necks and then he movedon to people.I hope this never happens.

Gee, Beardsley didn't post. I hope the State Police are looking into his posts, as I HAVE notified them.

Well again, Judge Karen Sequino-Nash, now known as the "Criminal Friendly Judge" has put Jay Baldwin, SERIAL CAT KILLER in the Pretrial Diversion
Program. What does that mean? It means that Jay Baldwin is out and about, ABLE and probably looking for another cat or possibly a small child, to torture and kill.

Get your kids and animals off the streets, people. Jay Baldwin is back.

He's 6'2" tall, gray hair/balding (he hides it with a baseball cap) 250+ lbs, and wears glasses. He has a valid driver's license so he CAN and probably WILL drive to anywhere to find a cat to torture and kill, the way he's done it to hundreds of cats.

It's only a matter of time before he kills again. My only hope is that he doesn't elevate to little kids.

Shame on Attorney Gaetano for not doing his job. Any shmo off the street could've done his job.

The blood of all the animals he has tortured and killed are on the hands of the "Criminal Friendly Judge" Karen Sequino-Nash, Attorney Jonathan Gable and Attorney Paul Gaetano. Until it happens to one of them, I guess they'll never get it. I wonder if the "Criminal Friendly Judge" Karen Sequino-Nash, Attorney Gable and Attorney Paul Gaetano would feel safe knowing that this CONVICTED SERIAL CAT KILLER is living in THEIR neighborhood???

This is SOOO not over yet.(No threat intended just a promise). The laws will change if I have anything to say about it.

A slap on the wrist. And people wonder why us animal rights activists are so passionate about what we fight for? Because the fight to get the laws harsh enough on these animal abusers is so incredibily difficult. That's why! So what's the next move for this guy? Will he move on to abuse people next? Stay tuned.

Lighten up, "Serial cat killers" don't have normal people shaking in their boots.
Give a guy with a mental condition a break! He is obligated to have treatment as a condition of his probation. A human being deserves more sympathy people, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Daniel Kook included!

As I read it he has had many breaks, some people are beyond help and will escalate their behaviours.

I guess we should just throw all of our mentally ill in a hole and forget about them? I wonder how many of these people protest the abuse or death of a child or any person for that matter?

Sure Mentally ill....What a joke.
This sadistic Savage should be kept off the streets permanently.
If I were the Judge in this sad case, this evil bully would be sent to prison.
Child abusers , Rapists and animal abusers don't last too long in prison.

Anyone who could hurt innocent animals is the worst o the worst.

I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY with all of the above with exception of YOU...there are MANY people protesting the abuse and death of children naturally, BUT not enough protesting ANIMAL abuse/torture/killing, as this creep has done NUMEROUS times....I worked with him, I know he's a conniving bast--d now, although at the time, I thought he was an animal rescuer...He has used so many excuses (as he did to 2 of my friends) and people fell for them. I am truly upset over this outcome...

Attorney Gable said in court Jay is the way he is because he lost both his parents...guess what? I lost BOTH my parents...at the age of 12 (lost my dad on FATHERS DAY) AND age 17 5 yrs later my mother on GOOD FRIDAY...did that make ME go out and torture/kill animals??? GIVE ME A BREAK.

It never fails to amaze me that people think that animal activists care not for humans. Especially considering that most of us started off as, and continue to be, human activists!

Note that most serial murderers start with the torture of animals. It is a known and proven fact that it escalates from there. If you have been following this you'll know that most of us are worried that if left unchecked (and yes, probation is considered 'unchecked') it will escalate to humans.

So maybe he didn't deserve jail, but he certainly deserved something other than being set free on some 'supervised probation'.

Sadly, we will probably be reading about him again - and I just hope and pray that its only abuse of animals next time.

He should be in a mental hospital. If you can torture
animals, you obviously do not value life and can
torture a person as well.

Funny the media never reports on protesters being present at court hearings when children are abused or murdered? Why? Because it doesn't happen. At least not in this state.

They don't need protesters - the complete and total outrage from everybody for child abuse takes care of itself. But too many people think like you... that animals are worth saving, or worth fighting for - so there are those of us that try to bring attention to it. That's all. Animals have a right to an abuse free life too. I just don't understand why you, and all animal haters, have such trouble finding compassion for non-human living things.

Break Granted. Sorry for your losses. That may explain your condition. Your response to your losses is much favorable than Jay's. I feel badly for both of you.

Ah yes, this is the "typical" response of someone that does not care about animals. They use these phrases to execute a pre-conceived notion that animal rights activists don't care about people. The old "stigma" that they only care about animals. YOU ARE WRONG. Who are you to judge people here by insinuating that they don't help or care about people. You have no idea what people do for other people or if they volunteer thier time to help people. So stop trying to impose your judgements on others about animal lovers. Just because people love animals, it DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY DON'T LOVE PEOPLE.

I AGREE, AGREE, AGREE, I asked Irene if that is how the system was monitoring the visits, she didn't know since it's a NEW program (isn't that wonderful for Jay) and she said he could get an animal the day before have already killed it and BINGO it'll look like he has none. Also beware, someone told me he used other people to retrieve his victims...people PLEASE watch out when you place an animal in the paper and say FREE TO GOOD HOME...he knows all the ropes and of course, won't use his REAL name.... I am so devastated..for Irene, Donna, ME and all the animals who have and will suffer needlessly because of this CREEP

So, I assume that you volunteer at facilities for the mentally ill? Right?
