kind of an extreme point of view....... did someone in your family, or close to you, suffer from a smoking malady?

Wouldn't it make more sense to be against cigarettes completely, rather than the disingenuous attacks that amount to killing cigarettes by a thousand cuts? Because people smoking in parks in particular isn't on radar as a big problem.

Smokers bring it on themselves. There is a LOT of support for outside smoking bans because most smokers think the world is their ashtray and they leave butts anywhere. Look by the ashtray at Walmart. Butts 2 or 3 feet away tossed by some smoker too lazy to carry it that extra distance. By the way, sucking hot, toxic gasses into your lungs is not natural and the fewer public places to do it, the better.

These smokers pay taxes that support this park, and they should not be allowed to smoke near a playground for children in the park, but I believe they should be able to light up in certain ares.

The landfill would be ideal. You wouldn't notice the litter, or stench and they'd be far from decent folk. They could talk about their cancers and brown fingers and teeth. Like a support group for addicts.

It is so hard to hear time heals. It does not. Time makes it a little easier but you never get over the death of someone close to you.Just ask a Mom or Dad who has buried a child. The only consolation one can have is they are free from any pain or sickness.
