She has been on trial basically since the incident(s).

To understand the environment she works in, remember the snowball attack on the teacher at Harding, which resulted in a concussion for the teacher. Then remember the physical attack on the 64 year old teacher in Stamford, which resulted in multiple broken bones and hospitalization. These 'children' are a nightmare to deal with, and as far as I can tell, it appears she was just trying to remove the child from a classroom, and he wouldn't stand up. So she had to drag him.

What would you do if he refused to move? Let him stay in the class where he would continue to act out and prevent the other kids from learning? I say give the lady a bonus and give the kid a cage.

I say put the Thug in jail for a long time, and sent the nice kid to a nice school.

Call the police who can take the kid out of class and charge him with 'disturbing the peace'. Let the parents deal with the issue, if they can find parents that care. The irate parents are directing their anger in the wrong direction.
Everybody else goes back to class and the principal is off the hook. End of story.

I'm not sure the police have time for this- and the same kid could do the same thing every day. And if he doesn't move for the police? They will have to drag him. People are seeing the ugly side of enforcing discipline in an inner city school, and they can't handle it. Someone please explain to me how this kid will be dealt with when he refuses to move.
