As a boater, I am fascinated with the Derecktor story. They were quite an upstart, although they were too ambitious. They built many impressive ships very fast, and then were driven into bankruptcy by multiple lawsuits. I hope ships and yachts are built in Bridgeport again. The best chance for it to happen would be if the city just gets the EFF out of the way.
