When you think of Trumbull institutions, one of the first places to come to mind is Marisa's Ristorante on Main Street.A In business since 1988, Marisa's was originally a brightA light of the restaurant scene in Bridgeport, originating from a location onA Madison Avenue.

I like Marisa's, but my all-time favorite is right in West Haven - Lorenzo's. Great food, good service and decent prices. They moved about a block up from their original location to a nice new place that has a little bar if you have to wait for a table, you can have a cocktail. The other place had no sit-down bar. Check it out, you won't be disappointed, pizza is great too.

OMG Yes yes yes..When it was in the first little spot I adored the Seafood(calamari, scuingilli, scallops and shrimp) salad Italian style to die for!!! I forgot about that place! Hard to they are believe same owners of Savin Rock Roasting...Lorenzo's is great!! Thanks for the reminder.

They have a nice little combo plate too with a little bit of everything, ravioli, eggplant parm, etc. it sure is hard to believe because I don't much care for Savin Rock roasting either.
