Wow, read the story, thanks, I really needed a laugh today. Where to begin, with McKinney saying a "few" have tarnished Bridgeports reputation? Yep, and McKinney is one of them letting the Cappoziellos go all the time while he was Chairman of the States Environmental Commitee. He has even lied about knowing them while Rep. Kupchick, Russel Craps daughter, worked for McKinney in his office. Probably how those cash packed envelopes made their way to his pocket. And the lawyers who say it's OK that City Employees work on these boards? Sounds like the way they "interpret" the law. As in they lie to your face about what the law means, must have learned that from Blumenthal. Then the Employees talk of abstaining from a vote.??? What the he!! do you think they are supposed to be doing there? Deciding what to do, I just won't decide. They sure decided they all want to keep that extra $9,000.00 bucks they get though. And even if they don't vote, who's to say they aren't influencing those that do vote? This is another dance McKinney is doing so he looks good. A little corruption? He got a million$$ from the state to help cover-up some chemical dumping in Newtown, the DEP never even knew. Another example of McKinney putting your hard-earned tax dollars to work. Yeah, and those people should be kicked off the board and give back any money they got.
