I just hope they keep in mind the ingress and egress. This property is right at one of the most dangerous intersections in town. Just as Rite Aid has two entrances/exits (Main ST. and Rt. 59) this new building should be sure to put one at 59 and one at Hattertown. Although I'm always consciencous of environmental issues... I don't think that is the biggest concern here; more concerning is the volume of traffic entering the major roadway at the intersection. Even with the small farm stand the traffic exiting the business was hazardous. Too many accidents are happening along this roadway. The P&Z needs to be mindful of the volume and speed of traffic along route 25 and rethink it's economic development plan since this community was originally a rural area with small businesses dotting the road. There are more cars going faster now with widened roads. Setbacks and ingress/egress needs to be considered for everyones' safety as this community grows.
