Well, there are a lot of maniacs on the road... who knows if he was one, but even a good rider can get killed from 2 seconds of inattention.

So they're saying elsewhere that it was a pack of motorcycles doing 120mph... just the kinda people who need to be off the road.

That might explain it, he might have been looking over at another rider.

Yep, that's just what you want to do while weaving thru traffic at 120 mph. I'm going to be honest here... nothing against mc riders in general, but the 120 mph riders make me crazy with anger. When caught you ought to go without a license for 5 years.

No that is not what you do but I just can't imagine riding and then slamming into the back of a car.

I was on the highway when it happened and everyone was going about the same speed and keeping up with traffic. Some of the motorcycles were behind me. The next thing i knew i was coming to an abrupt stop. this poor guy was about 50 yards in front of me. It was an awful site to see him lying in the middle of the road lifeless. It was a tragic end to a beautiful day. :(

So the motorcycle riders were not speeding? Elsewhere they are saying these guys went by at 120.

.......and that is because there is virtually no law enforcement on the highways. I don't want a police state, I really don't, but I also don't want guys lanesplitting while going 120.

Even if he was wearing a helmet , hitting the back of a jeep and being thrown off at highway speeds will likely result in death or at least very serious injuries.I hated riding my MC on 95 and tried to avoid it. If you don't get hit by a car the pot holes would throw you off.I feel for his family and friends.

I would love to have a motorcycle but I won't do it. It seems too risky to me in the long term. Sure looks like fun though.

A lot of guys and gals think it's not cool to wear a helmet.I used to think that way until I thought what my head would look like if it hit the pavement w/o one.

Ava is total confused. I am outrage that she refused to get the help that she badly needs.
