Do egan or lori stand "a snowball's chance" of taking-over the Organization?

With an American percentage of 10 cardinals in the Vatican, it's a possibility. Not likely, but a possibility!

I checked the list, it's on MSNBC, only Timothy Dolan, from New York, is on it. So, not Egan or Lori this time around!

from what I've read, it doesn't HAVE to be a cardinal - they can 'elect' pretty much anybody they want.

from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope#Election
The pope was originally chosen by those senior clergymen resident in and near Rome. In 1059 the electorate was restricted to the Cardinals of the Holy Roman Church, and the individual votes of all Cardinal Electors were made equal in 1179. Pope Urban VI, elected 1378, was the last pope who was not already a cardinal at his election. Canon law requires that if a layman or non-bishop is elected, he receives episcopal consecration from the Dean of the College of Cardinals before assuming the Pontificate. Under present canon law, the pope is elected by the cardinal electors, comprising those cardinals who are under the age of 80.

Same here- I cannot bear to watch him, he so angers me. How arrogant to turn america into something else, something it's people do not want to be. But he thinks the people need to serve the government, and not the other way around.

Obama does all he can to pass laws like a dictator, but the constitution keeps getting in the way .Socialist is the bastard step child of communism. Lenin , stalin, che, and castro still tried and others will do the same. The only thing stopping Obama is he does not have the power to purge or kill The people that surrounded Obama before he was president and some recently are pure socialist or communists.
