How tragically sad that this poor woman (and anyone who takes their own life), was so deeply wounded in her mental health that she saw no open door other than suicide. My heart goes out to this family especially this woman's children. I pray for them to find the emotional strength to deal with the tough road that they have ahead of them ,and that they come to the end of it with some semblence of healing and peace.

Was she murdered? Who goes to the park and sets themselves on fire?

I just visited the CDC website to learn more about self-immolation as a suicide method. It is so unusual that they don't keep separate statistics (it is under the "other" category).
The police chief said there were no other footprints. If someone was covering up a crime, don't you think they would have avoided leaving footprints?
Handwriting is identified by husband?
Something isn't right here.

First of all, let me say I am deeply sorry for the family. Especially her children. I have prayed for the family.

I really suspect something is wrong here. It is very unusual that I well to do wife would take her own life in such a destructive fashion. Seems she had everything going for her. I also wonder why a baseball field? Media reports mentioned she was a huge supporter of her kids baseball games. Why kill yourself where you kids enjoy themselves. The footprint thing could have been covered up. The handwriting in the note….who knows. They should do more comparisons. Who knows, maybe she was having an affair. Or for that matter maybe her husband was having an affair.
