Attorney asks to quit, cites threats
Before jury selection for a murder trial could begin at state Superior Court in Stamford Wednesday, a defense attorney for one of three men accused of robbing and killing Danny Alcantara in November 2009 made a highly unusual request to withdraw from the case because he felt threatened by his client.

I do not blame the lawyer. I would never take the case in the first place. Hope that he be safe.
