"All of these people". You mean a professor at his university and the preacher at his church? ALL of THOSE people...? Exactly how have we turned closer to socialism over the last 4 years? And what about Kenya and ACORN? Which Chavez - Hugo or Cesar?
Obama has hung out with plenty of nut cases besides those two, but they are very bad. Wright clearly hates white people, Ayers was literally a terrorist. Neither story is even remotely dismissable.

Remember Van Jones? Another freak.

Fair is fair. You point out that you hate Obama, I point out that your side of the street isn't clean.
I point out you're not independent.

Also several real estate/chicago crooks.....

We have turned closer to socialism with the healthcare debacle, huge increases in spending, an intent to redistribute personal earnings, huge increases in food stamp disbursements, we've shifted towards demonizing business and achievers, huge increase in people on disability..... thats how we have crept towards socialism. Obviously.

I prefer some common sense over ideology.
A sharp rightward swing is fanning the flames on the carpet instead of keeping them in the fireplace. If the logs are in the right place, you don't need that much water to keep the house from burning down.
No offense taken and none offered, but this is a topic I know quite a lot about. They aren't comparable as engines. The MYT has a mechanical output and the linear generator has an electrical output. It still has all of the inherent losses of heat, radiance, hysteresis and eddy currents. All things considered, a naturally aspirated wankel doesn't really have any terrific advantages over a reciprocating piston engine and it wouldn't make a great deal of sense to run it on hydrogen instead of NG or PG, since the main source of hydrogen as fuel is stripped from those gasses in the first place.
That said, the free (reciprocating) piston linear induction generator is fine for electricity, but hybrids still have to carry the weight and expense of engine, generator, batteries and wheel motors, so as efficient as they might seem at first glance, the concept itself should be considered a stopgap - but a FAR more successful stopgap than electrics like Tesla.
Innovators win with success - a thing that the very essence of market competition strives to defeat. Not saying it's an establishment conspiracy, just making one of those centrist common sense observations.
I think you and Citizen44 didn't get the office memo on what this post is about, and it certainly has nothing to do with engines!
Me thinks matey, that you and Citizen44 have been in the rum a little more than ye should have. Arrrh. Best get back to the subject at hand, eh?

I'd already answered the question in post #6.

"Actually, James Buchanan ranks as the worst president ever."

I finished my homework and the quiz. Now I'm on my own time.

We know what the post is about, and letting the conversation wander is one of the nice things about the forum. I have a lifelong fascination with green transportation, renewable energy, etc. and there are some very, very interesting things going on in R&D. In 10 years time we will see some drastic, historic changes with respect to cars.

I have to say Chromium Man is much better read than the average lib who calls himself an independent.
