You know, you idiots who drive like you own the road are pathetic scum. Too many people speed, too many people think they have complete control over their driving. Listen, there are others out there on the road with you, morons. You never have to be anywhere that fast to keep driving like that.
The police need to patrol these roads more and ticket these speeders. Too many times, I see on Route 25, the parkway, 95 and every road basically, people speeding and driving like idiots. What will it take? More troopers/cops? Definately they need to stick it to these people with tickets at least. Maybe after a few speeding tickets theyll wake up. Speeders, wreckless drivers should also have to attend a safe driving course, along with having to watch footage of what happens when people drive like they do. Innocent people lose their lives and it is not fair to them or their loved ones. I for one am going to start reporting speeders. I wont hesitate to call 911 and give them the description of the vehicle and what road they are on. Im sick of reading about this. And God help the person that ever takes my loved ones life because they wont to drive like an ahole. Theyd better hope they dont live through the accident because if they do, im coming for them.

No Charles, the wreckless drivers should not need to attend a safe driving course. Obviously they already know how to do it! ;)

I saw the accident scene around 10am, and spent the rest of the day being so thankful that my family was not involved. How sad for the families involved. We should all slow down.

The gentleman whose wife was killed in this accident is a Norwalk teacher and my son is in his class. The ripple effect of this tragedy will affect many, many people. Tomorrow a lot of 6th graders will go to church or Sunday school and I hope and pray that someone will find the words that I do not have to explain how such tragedies occur. Our prayers are with the Festa family.

You
are
a
genius
(period)

Please do everyone a favor by not gumming up the 911-system with "speeder reports"; I also mention this as a favor since doing so enough will eventually get you arrested.

Please look at the picture on page A15 of the CT Post. Who is that police officer staring directly into the camera smiling.

I would think that there was something better to do at this scene than stand there smiling at the camera.

Trumbull what's going on there?

My family knows the Festa family through Softball and Madison Middle School. In fact, I saw Donna at Parents Night at the beginning of the school year and I remember saying to myself how nice and lovely she was. Their tragedy has touched a cord with myself and my daughter who is in Maddie's class.

We all have been thinking of their entire family today and our prayers are with all of them. May they all find peace soon.
