I am sure that more stores abuse the system than follow the rules. On the subject of Red Bull... I think it is the nastiest thing I have ever tried.

i never tried red bull.

i saw in walgreens the other day a woman buy a bag of $1 chips with a ebt card and the clerk asked if she wanted cash back and she asked for $20 and he gave it to her.
i don't know how the cards are supposed to work but it just struck me as something is not right with this.

a paki national? not even a citizen? after he gets out of jail, make him 'swim home'.

And as for the 128 (expletive)s that SOLD him their stamps: THEY should get the same amount of jail time - WITHOUT food.

I was shopping in Bi Lo and a young man came up to me an whispered if I wanted to buy 150 dollars of an EBT card for 75.I wished there was a cop around at the moment. Before I could report him to the manager he booked out of the store because I told him I was going to report him.

Hey, that might not be a great idea. If he was desperate for the money for a drug fix, he might have had a very short fuse. And if not you, he would have found someone anyway- so you'd be confronting someone at some risk without it doing much good. Just sayin, because I totally understand where you're coming from.

The store was crowed at the time and he would not want to deal with what I have in my bag, we can carry here. The motto here is do it the Wright way..Chuck Wright is our Sheriff and he believes in carrying.

I had a carry permit in Ct. I thought I told you that, I still had to go through another background check and took a test when I moved here. They just do not transfer them.Besides fishing with my Hubby we both like to go to the range. Lots of women here are getting carry permits for protection. The Sheriff recommends it.The State Police, Spartanburg County and Sherriff's Dept all Patrol here. There are more cops around yet they recommend carrying. People here have bumper stickers saying "Do it the Wright Way' as the Sherriff 's name is Chuck Wright. and he has constantly enforced protecting oneself.

Do you carry because of the gun culture or because you live near a bad area? I know parts of SC are truly horrible(among many places in the south) in terms of crime.

I got my first permit when I lived in Wilton and there was not any crime.I live in a gated community nothing ever happens here .I know there are some towns that have some crime but not around here.I just have always liked going to the range and shooting plus it is nice to know I know how to shoot if I ever needed to.Hopefully I would never have to but at least I know I am prepared. My honey sometimes is away for 3 or 4 days andsometimes more. He likes me to have the protection.

Ava, tell us more. Your life in SC is very interesting, what with the boating, fishing, motorcycle riding, pool, gardening, warm weather, etc. And my request for more stories supersedes Samuel's request for fewer stories.
