Rapes, murders, holdups, shootings, potholes, highest taxes, tax-cheats coddled by the current regime, urban blight, uncontrolled drug culture, un-prosecuted subhumans dragging children through school halls, the 'Steel Point grasslands' project, citizens getting cop-kicked and cop-stomped in Beardsley Park, Bagel King serving idiot cops, BPD covering-up for same, no Pleasure Beach bridge, dog-kidnapping/extortion...

...but thank fcuk that Bridgeport spends the resources and effort to nail a guy who went around the city spray-painting smiley faces.

LOL LOL LOL I know this guy too! I don't know him well, but for a little while he stayed in a rooming house in the south end of Bpt. He had a lot of problems back then, and he was about the weirdest human being going. He's cleaned up admirably since then. The marshmallow guy thing is just part of his weird little world. I would object to him defacing nice property- but you can't tell from the article if he did. If he just put his silly signage on a dumpster, for example, it's hardly worth an investigation or even an article.
He's a harmless guy in his own world.

The cops should keep on eating donuts and getting fat and leave this nice man alone.

Boy oh boy I could tell stories about that guy! But he looks much better than he used to, so I think he has changed for the better. I don't like graffitti that defaces public places, but I think this falls a little short of that.

Really? Really?.... This is what's got a bug the cops' ass? Cute Marshmallows painted around town. Oh no! Whatever shall we do!? Oh the influence this will have! What if... What if my children start craving Marshmallows?! Or worse want to draw them!? Come on, man... If you consider this a problem then you've got some shite priorities. I've met this Marshmallow man before, don't really know jack about him but from what I could tell he seemed pretty chill, pretty weird, but in a chill way. This is nuts and gave me a giggle. I want 50 Marshmallow stickers to just put everywhere.

Take a south-bound drive down Main St. into the center of downtown. Now look left. Now look right. What do you see covering the abandoned, once-beautiful & thriving businesses? ART!!! A/K/A grafitti. Family-friendly & very colorfully done by local artists. I guess you'd better make lots of room in the old hoosegow for all those artists, once you've gathered them all up! I'm glad I don't live in "The Port" any longer. I'd hate to think my tax $$ are being spent foolishly. FOR SHAME!!!
VIVA LA MARSHMALLOW MAN!!!!!

I heard they fired the guy from his job over this. That's going way too far. It was just a little silly mischief, you can't even really call it grafitti.

He should never been fired or punished. Good luck to him.

Wasn't he fired because he graffitied a business owned by a sponsor of the theater?
