NEW building block of success = OPIC, One-Person Internet Company. I envision every housing unit becoming a factory-without-a-smokestack. Prepare for manufacturing's triumphant return.

Bingo. Jobs drove 1/4 million Ct residents out in the 90s, with drop approx. 10k/year so far this decade, too.

Oh cry me a river Phyllis. Just because you can't go out and buy a new pantsuit this week to show that one listing you have for a million, you blame something or someone else.
There are 4 things that bother me.
A bird dumping on your car right after it's washed.
Somebody not entitled parking in the handicap space.
Taxes way too high.
And real estate SALES PEOPLE.

Wearing too much makeup, perfume, and having your hair done every 3 days, all you do is walk people through an overpriced house telling them how "inviting" the kitchen is, or how the house has hardwood floors(dah) or how the yard is big anough for kids to play(dah) or how there's room for your mother in law (hell no).
Of course the more jobs there are,the more buyers. Anyone can tell you that.
Sorry, in my book your not worth 5or6 percent.Maybe 1/2, no more.
And your a big reason why taxes are high, by pushing home prices through the "attractive" roof! Just in time for revaluation.
(oh Mr. Jones, you can sell for 750,000 even though its only worth 125,000 !.)
Go away expert. And take your new caddie with you.

Getting jobs back. Could someone explain to me how we'd go about doing that now that Clinton and Bush have sold this country off to the higest bidders. So now all of the jobs that earned so many Americans a decent salary where they could afford a nice house, are moved to China and Mexico where the same work is done in sweatshops by laborers working for pennies an hour.

If we want jobs back we need to lock down our borders, and stop making business deals with the Devil...err, the Chinese I mean.

All Phyllis sees is "more people with jobs, more money I'll make trying to sell you a house". Stop pushing it lady.

Poor Phyllis, she continues lying about the sanity returning to the market. It's gonna take a few more years at least, sweetie. I have some yard work she can do in her down time.
When she's done at your place, send her my way. She can paint the house.

Hey grandma put yourself to some good use try some charity work, or perhaps help someone less fortunate than yourself,as most of us good folks do. By your snide attitude you certainly need to be humbled.If you feel this is so humorous you may want to consider a laugh as your taxes continue to rise. Should you be on a fixed income and have to sell your home to survive as many unfortunate others in CT>>you also will be bit by the domino effect(reality time) and you may not find the situation quite so humorous!Ps bring out your own trash;}

Funny how you talk trash about Connecticut after making money in an overpriced market. It suited your needs didn't it?
