Teen sentenced to 40 years in shooting of Arkansas gas station clerk
A 19-year-old was sentenced to 40 years in prison Wednesday in the 2017 shooting of a northeast Arkansas gas station clerk, authorities said. Dwalin Lamonte Woods of Trumann pleaded guilty to attempted capital murder and aggravated robbery, according to a news release from the office of Scott Ellington, prosecuting attorney for the 2nd Judicial District of Arkansas.

He should have been given execution by the same method he used to kill the clerk. An innocent person lost their life because he placed no value in the life of his victim. Why should we value his life any more than he valued the life of his victim? Punish these scumbags by their own standards.
Everyone is sick of hearing about another soft-hearted prison term for a cold-hearted killer. Nothing will change until we elect judges with spines.

whats up with this crap. when a 19 yr old black person shoots somebody they try to make it sound like he's just a kid or something. The headline says "Teen sentenced to 40 yrs. If it is an 18 yr. old white person it says "Trumann man sentenced to 40 yrs. like he's a grown man. I'm sick of this kind of $#!+. Same way with all those thugs shot by cops while resisting arrest like Ferguson MO.
