Roy Kilgore has ruined Don Cole's chances of ever being anything in Trumann. I'd be ashamed to walk out my door with people knowing my name was associated with Roy Kilgores. Just my opinion.

and we all know what people say about opinion's right? I LOVE ROY KILGORE. I think he is an amazing man, very intelligent and knowledgable about Trumann, the problems that plague Trumann, and what we could do to help change those problems. He's also a super sweet God fearing man who would do anything for anyone-- even you, who is on topix bashing him.

We all have our OPINIONS, but there is no reason to be nasty and try to be hurtful just because your opinion is negative. There is nothing Christian about that.

Everyone to their own opinion. I agree with Citizen. He may be a Christian, but God will judge in that last day, not Roy Kilgore, in "my opinion" he has set himself up as Judge and Jury! I thank God he did not get on the city council. He thinks he knows it all. He don't!--Again "my opinion"! He and Don Cole think that they have ALL the answers, that everyone else is wrong and that they are the only ones that know what is wrong and right in Trumann. They don't!

Why must I be related to him? Because I like him? Sorry, but we are not related. I just like him very much. I have seen his site. I think he makes very good points and I agree with him on almost every one of them. I see nothing wrong with what he's done. He has only stated his opinions, just as you have here. I don't think that takes away from his faith or religious views.

I don't think I said you don't have a right to your opinion. I only said that everyone has one and they often mean very little. You clearly have yours. If you don't like Roy or his website then don't look at it. I'm sure it won't bother him in the least.

Neither of them say they have all the answers. They only have their opinions, just as you have yours. There will never be a time when we all agree on anything. I'm sure if you put only 10 people in a room they couldn't even agree where to have dinner. It's human nature and luckily we are blessed with the right to voice our opinions. Differing views and ideas are what promote change and progress. The trick there, though, is to do so without being mean and malicious. Coming here to call names and be hateful will result in absolutely nothing except spreading hate.

They have the meanest and most malicious site I have every seen! It is ONLY mean and malicious and spreading hate. God tells us in His Word that we are to pray for our leaders. If he is a Christian why bash the people that are leaders in our city. I don't like that Obama is our president, but I know I have to pray for him as the leader of our great country. But to do what they are doing on Trumann Politics is down right mean, visious, and very hateful. If they spent as much time helping and praying for our city and leaders, that they spend on their ridiculous cartoons and site, we would see change in our town. People need to get along, set down at a table and talk about some of the things,(without the public), and TRY to understand each other rather than airing it for people EVERYWHERE to read and see. Their OPINION is not everyones Opinion! If there are people out there that see what they say about our leaders, would NEVER want to move here or establish a business here. What they want to accomplish, is only turning people off. You don't promote change with what they are doing, you produce HATE! YES,MY OPINION! Just as you have yours.

Their public ridicule of our leaders is nothing but cruel. Talk about mean and malicious, thats all his site is about. It is nothing but CRUEL. He thinks you can take a small town like Trumann and make it into a larger city. That isn't going to happen. That is the reason people live here they like the small town atmosphere even if they have to drive a few miles to work. You don't get much input in that site because most people aren't going to participate in that negativity and the majority of our city does not agree with anything he represents.

You should really take a look at his site and see if there is any good coming from it. All I see is someone putting down everything about Trumann.

Couldn't agree with you more. Maybe next City Council Meeting the others will tell them both to move. They could move to another town where maybe they would like the leaders.
They keep ridiculing Mr. Henderson because he told that man that if he didn't like the looks of the town, he could move.
Doesn't the same apply here. They don't seem to like anything about the leaders of the town or fact of the matter, they don't seem to like the town very well with what they are doing.
By the way, the picture of the police getting a sandwich at McD's is disgusting! They have to eat just like everybody else. They probably don't have the time to sit down and have a nice lunch like most people. They have to eat on the go. God Bless their hearts!
