Wastewater Wind Documentary, Falmouth Massachusetts

Paul Shaw , Director/Producer

My name is Paul Shaw and I have just recently signed a deal to be the executive producer of a documentary by one of the largest producers in Los Angeles. And, I have never produced a television documentary in my life. Yes, I am a professional movie screenwriter, but believe me I was totally clueless as to how to produce a television documentary.

Position ; Technical Advisor

Expert on the impacts of industrial-scale wind energy development on the natural environment, local communities. Individual with high-profile elected and/or volunteer positions in community planning, land negotiation, and education outreach.

Wastewater Wind invites all Falmouth residents to the first community meeting for the documentary March 21,2014 at a location to be announced.

At this meeting, residents from the Falmouth area will discuss which landmarks, events and local stories the documentary should explore. Wastewater Wind will answer questions about the project during the meeting and ask for volunteers. Wastewater Wind hopes to recruit 10 to 15 area residents.

Wind power it provides a twenty year revenue stream, burns no fossil fuels and produces no pollution. That’s what the people of Falmouth, a Metropolitan Massachusetts town first thought when a state renewable energy agency looked to supplement the vacation town’s economy with a large megawatt turbine of their own -- that of 3 industrial wind turbines.

Wastewater Wind Documentary, a beautifully photographed short feature length film, documents how this proposal divides Falmouth's residents as they fight over the future of their community. Attracted at first to the financial incentives that would seemingly boost their economy, a small group of resident grow increasingly alarmed as they discover the health impacts of the 400-foot high windmills. Filming will take place Spring 2014.

Wastewater Wind to be filmed in Falmouth is a future eye-opener that should be required viewing for anyone concerned about the environment and the future of renewable energy.
