Troy is a dump and unfortunately most of the people that live there reflect this...but not everyone. Troy needs a new mayor and for "those people" who make it a dump to move out...but the problem is, where they move they make it a dump as well. I've seen surrounding towns such as watervliet, cohoes, GI, etc turn very dirty and "troyish" due to the people that are populating the towns.

Ben, your from Catskill? Have you looked around Catskill? you should talk about dumps.

To the Blogger: You live in a garage in an industrial neighborhood. I am familiar with your area. The foundry is historical, do you want it torn down?
Why don't you get a new hobby.

Not sure I understand your question... but here goes
The foundry is historical, do you want it torn down?

The damage has been done and I can assure this building is not in-line for a historical preservation.

Yes I can agree the foundry is historical and historically brass foundries have been proven to contain heavy metals. So why would Troy allow an unsupervised, non permitted demolition and then allow the debris to be left behind?
You live in a garage in an industrial neighborhood.
Industrial neighborhood?

Try commercial and residential. We do not live in the 1800's and I do not live in a garage. My home has a garage just like millions of others. The neighborhood has families, retail, one of Troys best neighborhood pubs and the Hudson River.

However if I did live in a garage in an "industrial neighborhood" what difference does that make?
Are there special rules for dumping demolition debris in "industrial neighborhoods"?

My question is why can't Troy NY get this cleaned up?

Ask yourself ferret.. Am I part of the problem or part of the solution?

As far as new hobby... I'm thinking Mayor
