This is insane. Why is the word justice used? Justice is putting the person who has admitted to doing the crime in jail. This is a pathetic arguement, he was told he had the right to remain silent and instead did not. Not only did he confess but later he apologizes and somehow he is still denied justice? If anything he has sped up the judicial process and helped his own cause by showing remorse.

Let me understand this Alice, you useless piece of garbage. You dont want the kid to be treated like an adult, but yet he can make the decision to pick up a gun and attempt to shoot someone, but in the mean time "accidentally" kills a 10 year old girl playing outside! You are NUTS! The kid was read his Miranda warning and his MOM waived his rights, just like the she is suppose to do, or she had the choice to lawyer up but good for her to make her kid be responsible for his actions. Go fight your battle in a court room as opposed to get you fame with that god awful ugly mug of yours so you dont dis respect the family of this little girl. Better yet how about you join this kid in jail to make sure he's treated like a kid if your so concerned. GET A REAL LIFE ALICE AS WELL AS A NEW FACE TOO!!!!

Alice Green has lost my respect a long time ago. Around 1997 there was a cabbie killed outside my home when I lived on South Main in Albany. Two stupid kids looking for crack money shot the poor guy to death. Green's response? She showed up at the trial of those two losers protesting against the death penalty and GOT INTO A SHOUTING MATCH with the dead cabblies' obviously grieving father (he was in tears walking out of court when she started to yell at him about the injustice of the death penalty. At that point, I realized that Alice Green pouts principle above people, and because of that she has lost her humanity.

Alice Green is a narcissistic, self-involved, self-promoting, coat-tail jumping, ambulance chaser. She doesn't give a crap about Timmons anymore than she apparently doesn't give a crap about the little girl who was murdered by Timmons. All she's doing is trying to snag some publicity for herself. If she was really interested in social justice (HA!) she would be trying to stop gang activity in Albany, NOT trying to get a gang banger out of jail. Sadly, Alcie Green is part of the problem.

I don't wish Alice Green harm, but neither will I be sad when she leaves this earth. She's done more harm than good.

"inappropriately"?- huh, gee, I don't know as this isn't a legal term. His statement was obtained LEGALLY and from him in the presence of his mother. Got an issue? Call your Congressman... the police acted entirely within the boundries of the law.
Good job getting yourself on the news, though, Alice.

Timmons may be a lost cause but so is the inner-city black community if people like Alice Green continue to be looked at as leaders.

Alice Green seems to always be more concerned about the criminal than the
vicim. For her sake, I hope she is never a victim of a violent crime because I doubt anyone would care at this point.

hey Alice where is the justice for the poor little girl and her family? Here we go again making up excuses and blaming everyone but the person that fired the bullet. You once again have reached a whole other level of pathetic. Way to take care of the victims.

I am having a hard time trying to figure out why the heck she would come out and say something like this...I mean this boy IS a child, so there should be some concern for him, like why he even did something like this. He (even though I agree he should be treated like an adult) should teach the rest of us as parents to pay attention to your kids, and make sure they value life as we do. BUT I really disagree with ALice Green, and think she should stay out of this....

what exactly does Alice Green do for a living. Who speaks for the victims of these crimes, not Alice Green.

Maybe Alice Green should ask his mother if she has any idea why her 15 yr old child is playing with a real gun and shooting it to kill someone- he keeps saying he didn't mean to shoot her BUT he did mean to shoot someone.

She is nuts anyway.

Alice Green is a low life like all the people she trys to defend. This poor family that just lost their daughter does not need to hear that someone is defending the person that took their little girl away from them. Alice needs to go back under the rock that she came from.

The news madia should ignore her totally and NOT publicize a thing she says!!!!! Maybe that would make her go
away.

You are right Kathy.
He may not have meant to shoot that sweet child.
But he did mean to shoot another person.
So I guess if he shot his intended victim,
he would not have written a "apology" letter to the victims family.Wow,lawyers are scum.
