I admire your desire to have your children do better than you. That was the American Dream. I suggest you get real. The banks know that & so does the educational institutions, thats why they are able to charge so much. Let your children choose for themselves. Either they get a scolarship to increase their education or get practical on the job training to advance themselves. If they choose the later theres always Encyclopdias to learn about the birds & plants in the forest. Stop living above your means & work with what you've got. I did & my kids & I are both doing well even in this economic slow down. I've bought & paid off two homes & my daughters have their own homes they can afford. They & I made it without expensive educational loans, & so can you.
My Children are grown in their thirties and with at least a Master Degree and are doing well.

Scholar Ships for making good grades was used for the first 4 years of college and scoring very high on the ACT.

Yes I helped with the EXPENSES and would do so again in a heart beat and will for my Grand children if there a need in the future and plan to LEAVE funds for their Education when I long gone from this life.

I want them to walk thru the Forrest of Life and not just see a bunch of trees ---but a lot more----that a well rounded Education will enable them to see and do.

Mine children grew up getting their hands dirty and can do work requiring they get their hand dirty today---but also they have enought English, Advanced Math, etc on the Advanced College Level that if they desire to take the written test for a Electrican License and so on with just a little effort on their Part boning up on the subject they could PASS IT---then make the money License Electrican can make instead of the low wage of someone who could not pass the test and the same goes for OTHER TRADES requiring a written test--if they ever wanted to do it or had a need to do too.

Beat the hades out of ACTUALLY DOING THE DIRTY WORK for low wages NO MATTER HOW skilled or hard you work and then a LICENSE Master Electrician SIGNING off on the work---and drawing a very high wage for the work you primaryly did.

As far as houses kept an extra one---that called my POUTING house so when the wife gets to buging me about something--just go to it a short ways away---and relax for a few hours---heck even can cook my own eggs without her trying to tell me how and saying am using the wrong pan or two much lard and not to mess up her cooking area, Blah, Blah.

I believe in Education and NOT EDUCATION with the SOLE purpose of making a living---I beleive with a sound High Education, not afraid to get your hands dirty, fair health, a little common sense then you will be able to make a good living-- and your quailty of life will be much better as you walk thru the FORREST OF LIFE and are able to see more than just a bunch of trees.

I walked in the FORREST of Life doing hard work able to see only a bunch of trees for most of my life---hopefully have advanced to seeing all trees are not alike. Maybe Not --Maybe so

I do know that I would have enjoyed a LOT of places, things, events have seem in my life if only I had a LITTLE knowledge of the History etc of them at the time---just from what I have been able to learn about them much later in life.

I'm not worried about the current economic situation. I think it is all a scare tactic for the government to take more control in the private sector. I found a poll site that is taking a tally of peoples thought on the current economic situation.

This is the first time I had ever applied for a loan. I couldn't have asked for anything more from the staff that answered any of my questions to the application process. Once this had all been completed the money was transferred quickly into my account. I will definitely be recommending 911PDAY .COM ( ) too my friends and family.
