A new spin on an old game - Sentinel & Enterprise

Former Mayor Mary Whitney wound up her arms, twisted her hips and threw a Frisbee toward a pole in the woods of Coggshall Park Friday afternoon.

What a wonderful idea!! Make it happen and they will come. Frisbee golf would be an excellant way for family and friends to enjoy the local environment!

I like this idea !!! I know a few people that play and I've always wanted to give it a try. C'mon Fitchburg step up to the plate on this one !!

This would be a great "thing" for Fitchburg as well as the residents. This is a fun game for families and a great form of exercise!

I discovered the game of disc golf a few years ago and have found it to be a great way to get outdoors for some fresh air and exercise. It's low-cost and has a low impact on the environment. The proposed location in Coggshall Park will make for a fun and challenging course. This recreational asset will benefit residents of Fitchburg as well as others throughout the region. I urge all authorities involved to grant full approval.
