Federal officials say they anticipate finishing by late 2014 a risk study to guide the cleanup of a contaminated Montana mining town where hundreds have died from asbestos exposure.

There is NO question that asbestos in ANY form is a hazard. You just keep blowing the situation in Libby WAAAAY out of proportion. The number of new cases of asbestosis is almost non-existant compared to the cases that occurred prior to the Grace mill being closed down. The article you are refering to says there is an end-game for the cleanup and the scientists are working on defining how "clean" is clean. This definition will determine WHEN the clean up is over. Sorry this doesn't fit your doomsday theory.
