I have no idea why it closed, so that must mean it must be the Sheriff's Department's fault.

Nope, it's gotta be the Assessor's fault

You'd think they would let the bands they have booked there in 2012 in on the deal!

I heard it from a very reliable source that "you people" and the "good old boys" had something to do with it.

Yeah, you would think. They didn't have anything posted on their Facebook page to inform anyone..I don't think they told any of their employees either until Friday.

Why would they care if this place succeeds or not?

I have heard a few people that are friends with employees there say it had akot to do with the 5-6,000.00 a month rent they were paying. I guess the money didnt come in fast enough to pay the bills. No clue how true that is but thats what i was told anyways.

They didn't pay there taxes. You can look it up on Missouri Case.net . Any body that knew the owner knew this was coming. He has never fulfilled his obligations to anyone or anything. The only surprise is that it didn't happen sooner.

It probably has more to do with the fact that Jim does not know how to manage money. This is the same pattern of behavior he always takes. This is not the first time he has left creditors holding the bag because he spent more than he was taking in.

Don't worry you can still get trashed at Georgee's and drive home.

I am not sure how a fondness for shuffleboard makes me a drunk driver.

Penalty Box closed down because they were about $30,000 behind in rent. True statement. There is someone else interested in buying it and he claims he would never allow this to happen. But it seems to me that the only reputable bar in Troy that always seems to survive is Mustang Sally's.

Oh it does because Troy Citizen = 1970's Mentality (the era when drinking and driving was considered fun and recreational)

it sounds like you have a real chip on your shoulders. There is no reason to start a fight where there is none. I think you would be a much calmer person if you would reach down between your legs and pull out that big stick.
