It's been a month since the Presiding Commissioner was quoted on the press as to having a plan to pave gravel roads.

Where is this plan? Will there be a public hearing?

I have no idea what roads are in Dan's unpublished plan. If it did include the road I live on, which is not paved, I would have to question the logic and sense of doing it....not enough traffic or use to justify it.

If you don't know the roads, how are you able to categorize them as "roads to nowhere" in your other posts?

so obviously you think there are certain roads that should be paved and it looks like some don't cut the mustard for ya......care to name the roads that do and don't cut the mustard??

one other thing.....you do realize there are two other commissioners that serve the county, you sure seem to have an axe to grind with Dan...

In the absence of information to the contrary, any gravel road in Lincoln County is a road to nowhere.

And it is gravel because it is not designed or intended for traffic volume.

Lessee.....roads that should be paved.....how about those that meet thoroughfare requirements, traffic volume standards and are part of a master plan that benefits all tax payers. There is no benefit to pave a road with just a few homes or farms on it.

Other Commissioners...yes, Mr. Bass. 3 terms and not one meaningful motion or proposal.
The other individual....is so memorable his name escapes me.

Axe to grind with Dan. Well, seeing that he's the one putting the budgets together for the past eight years as he stated in the LCJ, since he is the person that stated at the Chamber meeting and quoted by the LCJ that he had a paving plan......why do the other Commissioners matter really. From what I can see, there's not too much there....is there? Please prove me wrong.

All roads started as gravel. By your "logic" every road is a road to nowhere. Do the honorable thing and admit that you have seen the proposed roads and don't like the selections. Fodder patrol is right...grind your axe behind the safety of a screen name. Still calling bullshit.

Again public, if you haven't seen the list how do you know the roads only have a few houses or farms?

Tell you what - get planning and zoning back into place here in the county and then you can make your "master plan" that would benefit all the tax payers....it appears you have time.

his name is Mike Mueller - you really should be better informed

Dan is the presiding commissioner - the other two make the motions and vote, Dan only votes on a tie. He is like the county mayor and they are usually the ones that speak for their boards.....again be better informed before posting nonsense...

Ok you asked for it....just remember you wanted this - i know of some of the roads that have been mentioned for 2018
Childs Rd, S Moore School rd, Zoar Church Rd, Trackside Farms rd, Giles Rd, N Chantilly rd, Schemmer Rd, N Moore School rd, Sugar Grove rd........there you have 9 roads listed for paving - now i want you to bloviate to the citizens that live on those roads that they lead to nowhere, bloviate how they aren't important enough to have their roads improved with county tax dollars that they pay as well as you do....go ahead and try to spin it where it is pure stupidity for the county to pave these roads

now for those people that may troll this website and live on one of these roads.....give "public" your opinion on whether your road should or should not be paved....to me you're the ones that have more at stake

public your up.......bloviate bloviate bloviate....blah blah blah

Public doesn't have the list remember. How will he know if it is accurate? Lol. The residents of these roads need to know that mr. Public wants them to have planning and zoning as well.
