If we pay for garbage pickup, then why can't they just give everyone blue cans and let the trucks pick it up.

Rince out the bottles and put them into an extra trashbag. Then on Saturday you take that bag to the dump.

Very easy, while your at it you could do it for Paper, Card board, Steel Cans, Aluminum cans, and glass. I know you will cut your Trash by 1/2 with just a little effort.
