Whitehouse voters give OK for beer, wine sales

Only six months after its larger neighbor to the north went wet, Whitehouse on Saturday became the latest East Texas town to allow stores to sell beer and wine.

I'm hoping that by allowing beer and wine sales in grocery stores this will now encourage other grocery chains to venture into east Tx. We need An HEB or Albertson to compete with existing stores.
