My guess is that any kid whose parent uses the name "dixie wrecked" is probably part of the trouble-making punk crowd. He clearly doesn't have a parent who's any kind of a role model.

Some juveniles do not understand that once information is posted online, it can be seen by millions. These are low-IQ kids who have a limited future.

What is wrong with our kids?? They need a SERIOUS butt whooping. If I had done(or even had the thought in my head) my parents would have made sure I couldn't sit for a LONG LONG time. Make these kids to be accontable for their actions. Don't just suspend them, find a way to make them understand what they did and said was wrong. I don't want to hear, "Aw, little Johnny was upset becasue he got a bad grade. He didn't really mean it." And then slap them on the wrist. I don't care if they meant it or not. My parents taught me to say what I mean and mean what I say.

Such a lovely comment, and completely off topic.

You really are quite the a-hole sometimes, and for no apparent reason other than to make posters wince.

"MY GUESS is that any person who uses the name "Dan the Man" is probably compensating because he's a bit short in the manhood department"

As you can see ... my previous comment was off topic and simply troll-like, and may or may not be an accurate description, AND it sounds exactly like something you say multiple times, day in and day out on these boards.

If you want to appear TROLL-LIKE, carry on as usual.

If you want to appear a sensible individual with comments that contribute to the topic at hand, ACT LIKE IT.

Lecture over.

Subject closed (on MY end, at least).

Here we go again. Something happens and it's all the parents fault. Why does it always have to come to that? Get a reality check! Bad kids can come from good parents and good kids can come from bad parents. Sometimes it doesn't matter what you do.

You DO understand what his name means, right? It's not like I'm mocking his name for no reason at all. He's being intentionally vulgar then commenting on the bad behavior of children. You get that right?

It is time to make the parents accountable. If parents will suffer the consequences of their childrens actions, perhaps they will begin to behave like children. This is not a laughing matter as there have been too many mass killings that were prefaced by Facebook or Twitter posts. Charge the parents and children with felony terroristic threats. Any and all firearms should be seized from the homes and the parents should be put on the watch list. Kids did not behave like this just one generation ago. They learned it somewhere, if not at home, whom from?

One: The laptops do not access social sites so they are on their own computers not the schools. Two: They were not boys they were girls.

I know the girls. Sad for them and their family

JB school system has alot wrong right now, and it has for at least the last 14 years...kids whose parents are teachers are the ones who succeed, because the system allows for their education to be monitored through the use of IEPs...kids who need help are given minimal help if any at all...there is apparently no reason to help "outsiders". The kids who are/have been charged are lacking in guidance, role models, discipline, and decision making skills. Mostly they are lacking in respect. It is a volatile situation overall in the JB system, and there needs to be a change from the top down, from pre-K through 12, in all facets. Our kids are not protected, our kids are not taught. The schools let the kids come and go, kids have cars and leave school when they want to, doing whatever they please. Good luck and glad the building didn't get damaged this time, but if the kids are having these thoughts instead of focusing their energy into useful pursuits, then it could be worse, next time.

Seriously? JB has a lot going for it. I am not from the Tuscarora School District and moved here four years ago. Mrs. Stepler...The guiedance counselor for the elementary is wonderful and is always in the classrooms teaching of bullying, self respect ect. JB MIDDLE SCHOOL, which is where these girls go does not have kids coming and going as they please in cars... They are 11, 12,13 and 14 yrs olds. My son goes to JBMS and is doing very well and I am not a teacher I work full time in Chambersburg. I do take time with my children in the evenings even though I am exhausted. It is NOT the schools responsibility to teach my children responsibility, morals, right from wrong ect, that is my job and my husband's job. Quit blaming the school and take responsibilty for your own actions. The blame game has got to stop. Yes it is exhausting keeping after your children and it is easier to let them do what they want but that is the easy way out and then you blame the school because you can't or don't want to do your job as a parent.

I highly doubt that there are many teacher's children who have IEP's because that would mean that they are in the Special Ed program.

Daily Horoscope for May 24

Libra

This is a fantastic day for using your brain with precision and accuracy. For instance, it's great for filling in a complicated form or going through some complex paperwork because you'll find it easy to concentrate on what you're doing. It's especially good for paying attention to the sort of finicky details that you normally aren't interested in but which are right up your street.
