My family was out there this weekend, and noticed a lot facing south on Tara that was for sale by owner. On the map it is near 1506 Tara. Does anyone know who is selling it and for how much. I am pretty aware of the developer situation, HOA fees, and the golf course. But if the lot is reasonable and we can get title we would be interested. Thank you in advance.

I have a Forclosure listing for 61 lots in trinity estates that are listed for 2500 a lot. They are being sold in a package for 160k that's what they are asking for it.

. I have a listing for 61 foreclosed lots in trinity plantation. There asking 160k for all of them.

My parents were conned by these crooks back in 1987. They were unable to get rid of the lot and continued to pay taxes and HOA fees until they died. I inherited the lot and am stuck with it now. I don't want to keep it and can't get rid of it either. I am considering letting it default for taxes and HOA fees. Any suggestions?

The golf course is really nice now. It is nicer than the other one in Trinity so alot of people are playing out there. The golf guy works hard on it. I would suggest you put a for sale sign on your lot and put an add in the local newspaper to try and sell it if you want it gone. They even just repaved some roads.

I'm an owner in Trinity Plantation and encountered the same unfairness as others that purchased there as a short term investment property. I live in Missouri City , TX with no intention of ever moving there. Do to resent hardship of job lost I stopped paying the note in April of 2015 and by the grace of God, Developer Land Finance was willing to work something out with me, which said to me they knew the injustice from the start. I'm not here to vent about the wrongdoing but to rather to offer my lot for sale if anyone knows of any one that is interested, trusting God's law of adjustment. It is Lot 6 , Block 1, Section 1 on 00 Tara Drive, I think its a .5 acre lot, need to be confirmed. Very near the club house and golf course. I'm waiting to receive document from Developer Land that I own the property clear and was going to contact a realtor in that area to post it for me, then I found this forum. Because I want to be fair , I would not sell for more that what the county has its appraised for, which is far less than what I've paid on it since about 2007 and even then possible negotiation. Respond if interested or know of someone who is.

Get ready, you're about to get screwed again. They'll probably send you a 1099-C making you liable for taxes on the discrepancy between what you owed and what you paid. Since you settled and took the title they just got a tax write-off and made you liable for it. The IRS says it's income now that you have the title.

If you get the form it might be wise to seek out a lawyer.

Is there anyone still interested in buying the lot in Trinity planation? I own it clear, took care of the taxes from the debt cancellation, now I just want to be rid of this property as I will never live there. Will entertain all fair prices that will include closing cost. I know what it feels like to be cheated therefore I would not do it to anyone. The property is appraised at 5000.00 so would not expect less since I already paid more than 10 times that since 2007.

I am trying to sell my lot for cheap, just want to get rid of the land and the non-stop HOA fee. Let me know if anyone is interested in buying.... section 3, block 1, about 0.71 acre for 4000, almost half of what is appraised.
