Yep.

It was as weird of an unidentified falling object as I have ever seen.

I guess it must have been a meteor, but it was really brilliant-- big and long lasting. It was just a little before 8 o'clock.

Not to get too conspiratorial, but minutes after I saw whatever it was fizzle out, I saw what seemed to be a military helicopter flying from the north away from the location the object may have landed. Jus' sayin'.

Yes I did see it and watched it thinking what ever it was would crash being so low. I couldn't hear anything and it just disappeared. I figured the scrap haulers would take care of it anyway. It looked to be above mill town, knew it wasn't life flight because I can always hear it.

A fireball indeed!!! I saw it from my boat dock in Trinity. It was in the north sky in the direction of Lovelady and Crockett, thirty or forty degrees above the horizon. It's hard to judge the distance of something like that, but it definitely had colors of blue and orange in it and was much slower than a "shooting star"
Did anyone see it more directly overhead?

If you look at the link I posted above (scroll down to "Breaking News-Texas Oklahoma blah blah"), you can see the locations of different people that reported seeing it. They range from San Antonio to Oklahoma City.

Here's a cool video that shows it caught on a police car's dash camera...

Ok. So tonight I was driving with my kids when they made me look up at the sky. We saw what appeared to be two blue/red stars falling from the sky. Not fireworks. It was much slower than that. Much slower than shooting stars as well. I was able to get out of my car and video tape the second one falling. Moments after they fell, a helicopter was in the sky around the same area. I don't believe in all the "conspiracy theories" but can someone please shed light on this ???

I was walking tonight 9/5/13 around 8:15 in Whittier and saw a bright red light in the sky it looked like it was on fire. It started to ascend then it disappeared in the sky. Then another red light appeared and it came down from the sky towards me and then it ascended and disappeared into the sky.
