<quoted text>Ok, here we go. It's time to take a stand against all these changes. Coach Stout along with the help of his players and their parents that have been involved in Trinity Softball have helped put the Softball Program on the right track. For the past 5 years he has had a different assistant coach every year. He has had 30 plus girls every year. He pushed to get the girls lights, better field conditions, equipment, and better facilities. He has been the only one to prep the fields for games, etc. He has even fought to allow the league girls to use the HS facilities bc it's the only decent softball field in Trinity. He was 2011 Coach of the year in the district. He has fought for our girls to get All Academic honors, All District honors, MVP honors and even All State honors. He has also been like a father to some of these girls. Now we want to get rid of him???? Trinity ISD is crazy! Year after Year teachers and coaches come and go bc of decisions the Trinity Administration makes and it causes these changes. And we wonder why most of the kids are having issues with grades, life, etc? Trinity it's time to take a stand. Whether you like Coach Stout or not. Take a Stand! Come to the next school board meeting and voice your concern. Let's keep Coach Stout here where he belongs!!!!!
I think it's to late. Good coaches don't last long out there when they are let go. Onalaska grabbed Bendick quickly. I wonder who will grab Stout. Lamar University grabbed Langston!

My name is Cairus and I played for Coach Stout for 4 years and everything you said is right. He's been there for everyone at TISD and he is a great coach. He is the reason I am even going to college to become a coach. I wish one day I could be blessed to be even half as great a coach as he is. I agree we should take a stand. Also for all those people who are talking bad about Coach Stout, you should stop hiding behind your fake names and talk to him face to face. Coach Stout as always had an open door policy FYI.

Why are kids having trouble with grades and life? Changing of coaches??? No, not the answer. Look into these kids home life!!! Parents don't care. They think it is the schools job to raise their kids. Big down fall in our society.
One more, not the school boards decision to let people go. Wrong group to voice your opinion.

Well let me tell u one thing I CARE thank u very much. And I don't think its the schools job to raise my kids but I do think its their job to teach my child and I would love for coach Staut to b there to help in that. I know him personally and know that he is a good teacher as well as dang good role model for my kids. It just so happens he's a coach also. And yes u are right the school board does not make that decision but they can stop it. But the people behind this mess will get there's in the long run because KARMA is real and I will be the first one to say I TOLD U SO!!!

Didn't they basically do the same thing with Coach Droddy? He too was a Trinity graduate and all the kids seem to really love him.

My coach was always there for me. He still is. I didn't have a dad to be there so he filled that void. It's not the kids fought. So yes, I think educators that fill those voids should be commended. A part of the problem is the Superintendent. He makes the final decision. But that can change. And just might.

A clean house makes things better. People around here just don't like change. Look at baseball. A change helped. Girls softball has yet to win anything. Maybe this change will help them too.

It is the school boards job to approve or deny all of the superintendents hiring and firing decisions. They just don't take their job seriously. the superintendent is SUPPOSED to answer to the school board but that doesn't happen in this town. At least not anymore. They just let the con man they picked as superintendent be god of the district and never answer to anybody. It is scary to think about but true.

Everybody that gets out of Trinity schools is better off! Bendick and Langston had their choice of jobs, and Stout will too. Our schools continue to be bad because we always get superintendents that run off our best people and replace them with idiots! Good luck to Coach Stout and anybody else that gets out of Trinity schools. Your all better off!

You may need to research Coach Stout's record prior to passing a opinion that the girls have yet to win ... No post season appearances ??... This year there were some set backs that were out of the Hands of coach stout , just as they would have been of any coach .... He worked with what he had .... Do you not think he wanted those girls to be more successful in the win/loss column??? I believe often life lesson are the true wins on the softball field as well as through out the season .... It also takes a solid foundation starting as young as 4 to build up to compete and be successful against many of the teams in our district ... Trinity local softball league has struggled for years and is finally in the past few seeing some success or at least a foundation of skills beginning ... Baseball local program has been solid for the better part of 30 plus years .... So the softball and baseball jobs cannot be compared ... Also JV play on the softball side is very limited bc we are one of the few schools that have a JV .. Where with baseball the JV boys are able to see more playing time ... This change was for the betterment of a administration not the softball girls of Trinity ISD.. Trinity High School has more job opening than every before as well as most schools around.. So u will get you changes but the changes are not at the best interest of the kids bc studies show consistence in a students life increase the success in academics and over all life achievements ... So I hope you enjoy the changes u will receive its the kids I'm sad for they deserve better than this ...

Get your facts straight. Under Coach Stout the girls softball program had their first playoff birth in 2011.

Change has been the destroyer. The constant change and shifting around of Admonistrators, Teachers, AD's and Coaches has caused the very problem that exists today. If it doesn't change even the ones in power will be moved on and replaced eventually. It's just the way it is.

Every coach wants their players to be more successful in the win column. That's a given. I guess only time will tell. I will keep track of the girls and see if the new coach can get some wins.

You are so right. And it is our school boards job to put a stop to all this madness. But instead, they just let the superintendents play God and hire and fire people based on nothing more than who they like or don't like. Our district has lost some extraordinary administrators coaches and teachers in the last couple of years- all because one person, the superintendent, decided he didn't like them. If our community lets this keep happening, I guess we deserve whatever we get. It it time for Dave Plymale to go. He's destroyed enuf.
